I can see why Zola can feel weird but I think you’re right in Sabretooth slowing you down. If you proc x23 on turn 4 then you could do Knull on 5 and Zola it turn 6 doubling both copies power. Once you get Death and Deadpool you’ll be in great shape cuz you already know how to play Destroy really well!
game 2 you probably could've zola the x23 sending one to the left and mid. destroying mid couldve landed mid again or right winning the game as left u win by one point if my calculations are right😁
i really enjoy playing destroy because i like most of the cards/think the characters are cool. But it feels super restricting, like there is a specific order/draw you want and not pulling destroy activators for like a turn or 2 can totally screw you up. Can feel kind of restricting imo
@rahb641 I completely agree with this. If you aren't playing on curve destroy feels to lack the flexibility of other decks. I've been noticing that while playing other archetypes like silver surfer. I still really enjoy it but its a definite retreat by turn 3 if nothing is lining up.
@@D4REPlays honestly thats been the greatest revelation for me. Dont be too proud to retreat, it greatly increases the fun i have with the deck. anyway i enjoy your content, way more relatable than other creators

@iLLESTMADE Yeah, I did mention her and Knull were standouts, and said Nova and Hulkbuster were possible replacements but probably could have left her out for Nova.
Glad you show cased your favorite deck! Just wait to you fully assembled the perfect destroy list and feel a big difference later in the ladder!

@englishslavetrader4867 You are absolutely right. I don't think I would have ever thought about targeting X23 but that was the right play. Nice play!

Game 2 was easy win , knull left and carnage mid just in case they play there

@cycle1990 Honestly completely overlooked that play. I'm terrible about not considering carnage a play unless he has something to eat.
