My Dad got me a Gen 2 17 in 1993. Still have it and it has never let me down. I have a “frying pan” Gen 3 that is excellent. Best Glock finish. I have a Gen 5 19 and a 34. I like them quite a bit. I tried a lot of other pistols, including some very expensive ones and have returned to Glock as my primary handgun.
The Glock is definitely the weapon of choice for EVERYBODY. And the early Glocks I actually found really interesting, the gen 1 and 2, the early 2000s rare ones in the .45 GAP cartridge, and of course the truly forbidden Glock 18 and yes that too bad that are 0 transferable Glock 18s, so all of them dealer post-sample SOT ones.
Gen 5 w no backstrap fits me best...if i am concealed carrying my g45 is on me 100% of the time...idc ab the 17 frame being harder to conceal or if you can see it poking out a little...thats the one i trust w my life
@@misha5670 Absolutely no reason to apologize. I’m deaf from all the gunfire ,35 year career as a motion picture assistant cameraman, blanks are still loud enough to damage one’s hearing. I like to read the works of Thomas Sowell. If I don’t grasp the point he’s trying to make I keep reading the same paragraph over and over until I can understand his point. Hence, I knew “Horace West” was something I needed to google. Google couldn’t answer my Horace West question but one of your viewers kindly responded with the correct information. I always find it fascinating how such a small percentage of engineers dominate fields that employ so many.
The only trigger i can say i noticed and loathed in shooting was my unconverted saiga. Thank God even PSA makes a better trigger... everything wrong w a bullpup with none of the advantages...
Courting the LE market so heavily and effectively didn't hurt either. I think utter simplicity was a key feature too. Anyone can learn to work & maintain a Glock in a few hours.

But it doesn't have the adjustable back sight. I have bought two 1st year (US imports).
It did when i received it. Its in a box of parts somewhere now.
I couldn’t understand the comment about Walther? Horace west? Or horse wesp?
Horst Wesp. Engineer who worked for Steyr, Walther and Glock.
@@ElTejon47901 Thank you. I knew it was a gem of information that I was missing.
@@oldtimehockey7324 Sorry about that, i try and speak clearly but sometimes do drop the ball.

I see a Glock misha vid. Stop what you’re doing and click
Also, no disrespect to fox but man nearly 95% what he said I disagreed with or was a little cringe.
@@powerfulpreps You should checkout the 'short' i made by combining all of his comments into a minute lol.

You are hitting the same amount of targets. 'cause I would with that it just doesn't fit me
light weight, cheapness, marketing of alleged "quality". thats how glock got so widely accepted.

It’s also exceptionally durable and reliable.
