Thank you for all that you did during your time here. You will be missed by so many. My brother and I used to race home to catch the new episode of Might Morphin Power Rangers.
This breaks my heart when he talks about his brother. I was actually here at this con that weekend where I met him and was featured on his page like twice because I dressed up as his favorite superhero Wolverine. We met up like twice after that and exchanged several DMs. He was a great person. It destroyed me when I heard the news of his death. I never cried for a celebrity until him because I knew of the lives he impacted.
He lost his brother . So just talking about that can be hard. I lost my Grandma the same year I graduated from high school. And talking about that is painful .
Jason was never fat, he gained weight for muscle and finished MMA and went back to his size, amazing discipline. RIP sir you're in paradise with the King now. You are happy now.
He is quite a guy with a whole lot of staying power. To lose his brother and now his mom, the man still holds his head high. Jason David Frank is, indeed, an inspiration.
Chris Evans power rangers me new friends with the first time tv show cool netflix wow that day so now that new one just hope it is good news did you would make people would love kids and family new day good luck know what my life is good news
This is the reason I love him, even if you’re not a Christian like I’m not, he just seems like the nicest guy on earth. He was always one of my favorite rangers. Much love to him
This is great. im one of jdf"s ambassadors. I met him and hes the real deal. i didnt get to hang out with him to get his insights but im gonna get that opportunity again soon. i saw this on instagram and all the ambassadors were like go look!!!! awesome.
Jason, you are the most amazing man! Although it breaks my heart that you are no longer here physically, I know that you are always going to be with us in spirit. It gives me some comfort to know that we will see you again one day. I hope you are surrounded by love and light, with your brother, Mom and stepdaughter. You are always in my heart ❤❤
@@ElbertTreble Since that comment I met him and third time and it never gets boring. We talked for a minute or so and shared a laugh, it was amazing. JDF's an amazing guy and one of the best people I've ever met.
I absolutely hate the reason I'm watching this today honestly I feel hurt, let down and even a little betrayed If our heroes even with Christ can't make it through this life how are we expected to
I feel your pain. It's sad that his faith in Christ wasn't strong enough to save him. Suicide doesn't solve anything. He just left his fans feeling hurt and empty that he died for nothing.
I find it odd that the person trying to settle it down didn't call the police department when they were arguing. His wife supposedly called the police at 5 AM, which was a few hours later they were arguing where they were next to each other. IDK about anyone else, but I don't believe that he committed suicide.
It was suicide by hanging. He used a hair dryer cord in the shower somehow (I don't know the exact specifics) according to his pathology report. We now know he had several prescription drugs in his system from his toxicology report including Ambien, which is known to increase suicidal thoughts. Tammy was investigated and cleared by the police. Tammy and he were reconciling after he left her because of an affair.
JDF is one reason why I watch power rangers in the 90's when I was in high school and I feel really bad for him because he lost his older brother Erik 20 years ago I think
Thank you for this awesome interview. Please consider interviewing some of the other Rangers, several of them are Christians and are unashamed of their faith! Check out Nakia Burrise, she played Tanya, the third Yellow Ranger on Power Rangers Zeo & Turbo. Also look into interviewing Catherine Sutherland, she was the second Pink Ranger in Mighty Morphin, Zeo & Turbo and she played Kat. Both of them are very strong and very outspoken Christians. Also look into interviewing David Yost about his life. He's a gay man who had a very tough walk dealing with his homosexuality and his faith. I don't know if he is still a Christian or not, but I believe he does still believe in God. So he'd be an interesting man to interview. I believe Walter Jones, the original Black Ranger, is also a Christian, and so too may be Karen Ashley, the second Yellow Ranger! Please look into doing more follow-ups to this segment! This kind of thing really appeals to young people like myself. I was in third grade when Power Rangers came out and it had a big impact on me. I'm still a fan on the eve of my 30th birthday! I'm a Millennial myself (just barely) and I really hope you can find more people like Jason David Frank to interview. As it is a great outreach to people from my generation and younger Millennials today.
+astrotriforce What about Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly)? I got a chance to meet her on StageIt recently, and she was very nice and considerate. What about Richard Horvitz (voice of Alpha 5)?
Erick Ray Frank Con amor tus tios ,Padres , hermana y hermano Hoy , Mañana y Siempre y para siempre estarás en nuestros corazones. Tu eres un ángel en el Cielo JD.Frank/Tommy
It would be a great idea to never change his character's race, gender, or orientation in any possible future reboots or remakes in honor of Jason David Frank. That would be ideal. If they use CGI to make Tommy in one more episode of Power Rangers where he would become the green or white morphin master, that would be the perfect ending for Tommy and for Jason David Frank. May the power protect you, always
"A brief stint as the White Ranger" Nope Tommy was White longer than he was Green but most of his popularity came from when he was the Green Ranger, so it should be the opposite.
It's so hard to watch this knowing that he's going rest in peace old friend we're all going to miss you Jason David Frank where should I call you Tommy Oliver it's Morphin time dragonzord 🗡
Puerto Rican Catholic speaking here and I don’t apologize for what I’m about to say. Jason is one of my all time favorites but I think he was brainwashed.
While I admire Jason for talking about his faith in Christ, churches really need to drop the gimmicks that they have been doing to try and bring in those who do not know Christ. When we have to do such things, gimmicks, etc to bring others into the church, are we also in the same breath denying the power of God and His power to draw those to Himself without our intervention or our gimmicks? One does not give over his life to Christ because of a gimmick, but one gives over his life to Christ because of the power of God and how He drew that person to Himself. Also, in regards to "Jesus Didnt Tap" - really....really? While I do understand the motivation behind the name and the line of clothing etc, how about we just preach the Gospel of Christ and allow God to draw those whom He will to Himself so that those people might be saved through Him and not through anything we have done or said. Also, in regards to "Jesus could of tapped at anytime" - um, no. Christ knew His purpose, He knew that He was on the earth for a reason and that reason was so that I and many others may take on His nature, His righteousness, His holiness, being covered with His blood, His salvation, through His death, burial and resurrection. While the clothing line may create conversation with those who do not know Him, instead of gimmicks, etc, we need to preach Christ
Eric Wells "Jesus didn't tap" is the answer for people who deny that He died for people and rose again, that He gave His everything for us. There are people who attempt to twist His story around, and JDF is simply representing this one aspect of Christ out of His many aspects. Yes, He did have the power to "tap at any time" but He did not. He is the only being in the world with the power to "tap" while He was dying but also chose not to. "Jesus didn't tap" is not denial of His will, His power, or His intentions, but affirmation of it. As for the gimmicks, I'm iffy on those. It's not wrong to occasionally host special events of course. The (very conservative) church I grew up in did similar things. I remember when a martial artist showed up and demonstrated his ability to break wooden planks and some other clever moves, and other guests like him. But they kept it at a minimum and made it very clear that their true purpose was to lead others to Christ. I'm more concerned about outrageously flashy gimmicks though. I went to a church that hosted what for all intents and purposes was a rave, and while it was kind of fun it was too much for me, and I couldn't remember a word that was spoken on the Bible. (Not to say that they didn't have anything to say, just that it wasn't that memorable.) If people are genuinely led to Christ through someone's genuine efforts-- and remains inspired to continue in their faith (not just dropping it because it quit "being fun")-- that, I believe, is the most important factor. So long as they are not somehow carelessly leading others away from faith in God.

I feel like ASJ lives a more humble life than JSF does. JDF's a gloryhog, where as ASJ seems mellow and content to not be in everyone's face. ASJ has a better reputation and I think that JDF is scared that if ASJ is at a con it would draw attention away from him, that's why he doesn't want to make nice with him. It's kind of petty and weird.

Frrr, they released no cause of death, we know it is suicide but which one? Hanging, gun, Plastic bag, dropping something heavy on head?
I also don't believe it's suicide, somebody probably killed him and then said it was suicide to cover it up.
