I just bought the glycerin 20 and am watching videos to make me feel more confident with my purchase 🤣so with that being said, the glycerin is way more gooder for sure.
Testet both out in my local B&M runners shop. They feel quite different. Both great, but different. The Triumph feels faster, it pushes you ahead. The Glycerin is very planted. Fits like a glove, and confident. Well. The long and short of it, I ended up taking both. 😂 The Brooks, for the every Day runs And the Triumph for the longer weekendruns. Haven’t looked back since. Both are great.
@@rahulparutube go with Triumph. After my month of running in both, i Think the Triumph is the better shoe. Bit still love the Brooks. It fits my foot like a glove.
As you guys said they are both good updates. I find the power run pb in the Triumph has got a good blend of cushion and responsiveness. I feel like I could run all day in that shoe. I actually find the Glycerin 20 a bit of a firmer ride due to the nitrogen infused foam. But everyone is different and there are lots of great shoes out there. The one thing Brooks has nailed is the step in comfort of their shoes. When people try them on they love the feel of the shoes on their feet. And out of the Glycerin, Triumph, NB1020 and Nimbus the Glycerin outsells them all where I work. So Brooks must be doing something right!
So true… when I do a "fun run" type race, there are always more Glycerins than anything else… Plus the Glycerin lasts for ages too!!! But they seem to be less popular with really dedicated runners who find them kinda boring I guess and who seem to prefer the Triumph!
I’ve been comparing the Glycerin and the Triumph 20’s. It’s good to see that it’s so close between the two, as the cheapest I can find the Triumph 20’s in my size is about £115, but I’ve been able to snag a pair of Glycerin 20’s for £59. I do prefer the look of the Triumph in terms of style, but at half the price I think I’ll be happy with my Glycerin :)
I bought Triumph 20 couple of months ago and had to return as I needed a size bigger and it wasn't available. Then while I kept waiting for the bigger size, I got a steal of a deal for Glycerin 20 GTS available at 50% discount. Man, I've never worn anything like it!! Came to this video to know if I was missing anything and whether I should still own a pair of Triumph 20. Thanks to @The Run Testers, I learned they were both pretty similar, so I rather ended up saving money. On another note, I was extremely sad while returning Triumph 20 as I couldn't take them out a single time. but I guess I could use the money that Glycerin helped me save, over Triumph 21 which is a month away from launch now. 🤩
I have the triumph 20 and it is the most comfortable & cushion shoes. Great for running long distances and for beginner runners who want a smooth and soft landing thus protecting their feet in the long run. It feels like running on a sea of clouds.
Wow ... that was a hard comparaison for you guys ! LOL .. really great that you don't have to agree every time. Adds to your complimentary perspectives. That's why so many of us trust you.
Just bought some fruit loops Glycerin 20’s via Dicks for like $45. Was so cheap I bought two pairs. They’re hideous looking but my feet are comfortable. Best shoes I’ve worn so far in my life.
Oh Tom, not happy to see Nick then?? I know it’s too early but what many of us want to know is the longevity, though I know in the past versions both last really well, maybe the Glycerin a little more???? But yeah there are soooo many great shoes it usually comes down which ones I can get for a bargain on sale!!!
I'm more of a short runner and even more of a on my feet and walking around 18k steps a day with the work i do. About two years ago I found the Brooks Adrenalines and fell in love.... then over this last summer I found the new Glycerin and was blown away. I'm a firm believer in the GTS system Brooks have. Never even wore a pair of Saucony's before, would you guys recommend trying them in my situation or just stick with the Brooks since I live them so much?
If you have the money, have both of them. Or why not try in one of the stores to get the feel. BTW, I bought my father a pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 25. He loves going for longs walks like 10-20 KMs a day and he used to complain of pain in his right knee. With Nimbus 25, well not anymore! I personally have Asics Kayano 28 (a year old and I loved them the moment I put my feet in) and Glycerin 20 GTS (a month old) and I love the Glycerin. My younger brother went for Nimbus 25 after hearing my father's feedback but when he wore my Glycerin, he wanted to exchange them, not sure why. Obviously I didn't and I stuck with my Brooks. Love'em. 😀 But hey, whenever I have made enough money, I am going for both Triumph 21 and Gel Nimbus 25 or perhaps 26, if it gets a bit late. 😀
Are you guys the same weight, and do you believe your weight could be a factor on the feel of the shoe. I know that as a >200lb runner, shoes that reviewers find stiff are more comfortable 10 miles in them the ones they describe as cushy are bottoming out.
hi, i have just bought ,one month ago , glycerin 20 , i find the shoe too warm and pretty heavy ... i'm 84kg and i run at 5|30 6 for km for 7-8 km , after 3-4 i fell tired... i tried in the past saucony ride 14 which is more responsive then glycerine but too hard ... my calves suffered and i swiched to glycerin... Do you suggest to try this saucony triumph..20.?. i wear feetbed of 40 gr ..and with these my shoes reach 315 gr,,,in size 44.. , so triumph has enough space to insert feetbed ? which is its weight in size 44?

The triumph 20 was just delivered to my house, I’ll keep y’all posted 😂😂
@@GeeTee88 So? any updates? This will help me with my decision.

Awesome review. A very good problem to have for you guys 😀
Are you guys testing the Tempus at all?
How do they compare with the Tempus?
What about Novablast 3/Invincible 2?
I ❤️ my Glycerin 20’s.
Thanks for the compare. The Triumph 20 looks great. Could you compare them to the NB Supercomp Trainer? I know it is a plate shoe but is for training.

Is the weight difference noticeable?
Is there a rocker feel in the Glycerin 20 like in the Triumph 20? I think the rocker might be causing me some issues 🧐
Rocker feel is not so much there in the Glycerin 20.

Good review, how would you compare them to the 1080V12? Same weight class.
How would you stack these up against the velocity nitro 2?
@@vincevanderperre6484 because they were using the triumph and glycerin as a daily trainer which is what the velocity nitro 2 is.
Does the Glycerin have the rocker feel/speed role technology like the triumph?

So is it PowerRun+ or PB in the Triumph?
PowerRun +
Which one is more stable?
I’d lean to the Glycerin but if you need more support the Glycerin comes in a GTS version which has raised sidewalls which provides extra support
Does the Glycerin have the rocker feeling/speed roll technology too?

Not a fan of neither tbh.
Loved the Glycerin 19 though.
