Hi GMAT Ninja Team! I noticed the Quant videos have been updated and wanted to ask if there are major differences from the older ones. Should I rewatch them before moving on to practice tests? Thanks for the amazing content!

    Great video, thank you!
I only didn't get the x4 you have done in the last answer. It wasn't necessary imo, the answer should be A. Am I wrong?

That is the quarter rate. The question asks for an annual rate. Since there are four quarters in a year, you have to multiply by 4.

@vincentzhao1328 is absolutely right here (thank you for posting!!). The 12.5% Tim found was the quarterly rate of increase, but the question asked us for the annual rate of increase so we need to multiply this rate by four.
To look at this another way: we found that the number of followers increased by 900,000 in the first quarter. If we assume this rate of increase remains constant for the entire year, the number of followers would have increased by 900,000 * 4 = 3,600,000. Therefore, this would have given an ANNUAL percentage increase rate of (3,600,000 / 7,200,000)*100 = (0.5)*100 = 50. This is another way of showing why (D) is the answer to this question.
      I hope that helps!
