This panel has been one the better performing panels for me. It's just a little shy of the Star SP100 but it has a little better price. I'm wanting to test their 200s version as well!
It's a cool one. I traveled with it recently because of the size and ports. I brought a golabs i200 because of it's size as well. I want that 300 lol. Did you see that one?
Okay okay OKAY! Between you and Jasonoid, I finally decided I had enough coins saved to get this one. I've got another large folder, but it isn't ETFE and doesn't have USB-C, which can charge my laptop and tablet. Same price, so I used your affiliate link.
Always enjoy your reviews man. I too have always like the Elecaenta panels. I was bummed when I found out that their 200 and 300 watt panels dropped the USB ports. Thanks for putting this together.
Thank you, Ive, our 4 panels are all parallel, when you hide 1 or 2 panels, it still gets power, but less than when they are all expanded and not hidden. Lol
Awesome! My favorite and well built, put 2 in series and it’ll deliver a serious punch for your Ecoflow River 2 Max or Pro. Serious camping panel, I got 4 for the option of 2Sx2P for the Delta 2. Use small pieces of wood to support the dropping panels. On bright days I’ve pulled 110w per panel. Excellent video.
Hi@@chrissimonm1446, the panel kit comes with two accessories, the 1:3 pigtail and MC-4 connector. I topped off my EF River 2 Pro using the 1:3 pigtail's XT60 connector. So it works I usually use the MC-4 connectors because I am using a second panel in series. The connector for this setup is the XT-60i, this has the third prong. Cheers, I hope this answers your question
I saw several reviews on this all positive! I agree having a panel with 8mm direct can be handy for many of my smaller power stations! I see you got the trees cut down! Looks great!
@@AskIveSolar I think those panels are wired in series parallel also they way that you did that test by walking past them. That being the 2 on the left are in series, and the 2 on the right are wired in series and than they are put together in parallel :)
I have this panel as well. I did a head-to-head comparison with my top solar quad-fold 100 watt panel and ultimately the top solar gives me more bang for buck.
@@AskIveSolar Yes, I have a 160 watt on my roof rack, but recently bought a DC-DC / MPPT charger controller and want to free up some roof rack space. I think a 120 watt portable panel would be sufficient for my use along with most of the charging of my battery coming form the DC-DC charger.
Nice review and panel man, I own a 100 watt that I need to test myself soon on a sunny day, I love the fact that it came with a DC to MC$ connector too, thanks again.
Thanks Sir!! You know I have really been seeing the beauty of that statement, Less Stuff, More Freedom. Its quite a profound statement even in its simplicity.
Not in series. And if you do in parallel just remember that it's rated at 6 amps so 6 plus 6 would equal 8. Because if the 8 amp limit. So it can be a waste of power. But you would need a parallel 5521 to 8 mm. Or to 5521 and then adapt it to 8mm
Solid looking panel! Have you heard of the TWELSEAVAN ones? It's the same price point, 120 watt quad-fold, but it has that 60 watt USB-C PD you were talking about! I bought one about a year ago off of amazon and it worked out really well for me. Appreciate your vids!
Be careful with these panels. I bought 2 of them. And while the power output is great to start with and the connections are good, I have had a lot of durability problems with them. My first panel's junction box stopped working within a year, and the power output on my second seriously degraded after about 6 months. Despite being mobile panels they dont react well to the panels being moved about a lot. ALWAYS hold the panels by the carabiners or via the straps. The good news is their customer support is good, and have offered to replace the panel at no extra cost

😂 that's funny. I'm glad you settled on one.
Yep I got 1 it works well
Thanks JP. Glad to know you like it.

Oh really @ no USB ports. That is interesting. I was interested in their bigger ones. Maybe they'll send me one.
Flexsolar makes a 120w folding panel with a 60w usbc for sale Amaz $169
Interesting. I have a couple of their panels but 40 and 60. I think I lost contact with the person. Good to know though.
I have that panel, or possibly the next size bigger. I love it. Thinking about getting another.
I dont think I have seen anyone complain about them. They have some larger ones too that Im interested in as well.

Oh wow @ 110 per panel. I may pair it with something else that has similar characteristics but maybe not.
@@AskIveSolar The ETF coating is a real bonus. Have a great Sunday
Hi I have just bought one of these for the Ecoflow river 2 pro which connector did you use as I used the xt60 and can't get any charge at all? Thanks

Great eye on the trees!! Haha
Nice review Asklve Solar :)
Love the soup can technique on the panels, As for it is really hard to get these foldable panels to set perfect :)
Thanks Sir!! I thought about grabbing one of those little shadow joints to help with panel angle just for testing.
@@AskIveSolar That was very helpful years ago because we did not have all that fancy stuff the folks now-a-days have :)

Cool Panel I thought about getting one of those. What type of camera do you use?
Mostly a osmo action and sometimes my s21 FE

Interesting. I'll check out the top solar joint. I've seen them around.
Dokio 300 watt panel is my go to panel. Comes with a solar charger and adapters for less than a dollar per watt.
I could never come to terms with the dokio but Im glad you rock with it. It just seemed a litttle too budget. ha. If thats even a thing.
@@AskIveSolar I understand
Thank you for the review, looks like a decent panel for the price.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. You in the market for a folding panel

I have the one with 4 legs great!
Interesting and nice! I love this little panel.
Wow, look at all the accessories. Think it beats the AllPowers.
I think it does!! They add so much versatility even to other panels I have.

Good to know! Yeah a channel I was watching recently was cautioning about how one handles folding panels.
$200.
