I accidentally came across this while researching comic book inker and penciler set ups. I must say that your studio is no nonsense, unpretentious, practical, very intimate and authentic. Thanks for sharing.
This was VERY helpful to me! Thank you! I've been trying to find a table that is a hybrid between a drafting table, a crafting table, a desk and an easel. I wanted my father to make one for me, but he didn't seem to understand what I needed or wanted, so he was just going to buy me a drafting table for my birthday. But now I have something to show him that will help me a great deal! I can't believe there aren't more options like this out there. You need that space on the side for multiple things.
No studio is clean for very long. I try to keep mine clean, but there's always something left out if I'm keeping busy like I should. Great video, Jeff.
Nice to see a proper functioning used studio with innovative solutions. I really enjoy finding new little necks to improve my workflow.... and its fun to see others too :)
Sometimes videos pop up in my YT feed that I want to see! Really dig your studio set up, very cool table design too. I like the built in light table element, even though I prefer a flat surface to work on it makes me think. I currently work on a big office desk that I love but want something even bigger one day. I always have my eye on those corner L shaped multi level office desks one sees in furniture stores. ...One day.
You have a neat set up Jeff. My studio is a small corner of my bedroom where I put two tables caddy-corner and I made a makeshift drawing table out of a box easel and 18X24 drawing board. It's rarely neat. Probably need tp expand to a third table soon. lol.
I love this so much ! This is sooo true I always have a MESS when I draw lol 😂❤️ I love that his computer is on wheels everything I have is in wheels also lol 😂
This is great!!! What kind of printer/scanner do you use? I figure it's big enough to scan standard 11x17 comic sheets. That's what I've been looking for so I thought I'd ask.
Yes, I shoot acylics, and I learned the basics from a friend and then just carried on from there. Here's a couple videos where I talk a little more about my technique ... ua-cam.com/video/4czamhpjlzI/v-deo.html - ua-cam.com/video/VUfjCcDiH-4/v-deo.html Thanks for the comment

Great studio tour, I love the real thing. I think the best studio is one that evolves over time. I built most of mine, too. Thanks

Its a Epson WF-7510 and it does scan 11" x 17"
Great drawing table. . I made myself a drawing table ..
my first thought was "your art studio is literally a shed with a drafting desk in it." then i thought "still better than it being in your own bedroom.
Where did you learn to spray paint? And is it acrylic?

Efficient and no room for distractions. People don't realized that Frazetta never worked out of an elaborate studio but he created the best art ever.
Good video
like your style of messy!
Excellent video man!, I really liked the animation video, I just saw it and man is really good, also your art is really cool!!! Greetings from Colombia.
