Chase Langford has invented a distinctive visual language that is grounded in the natural and built environment while embarking into uncharted territory. His impactful depictions recall maps and aerial photography of sea coasts, mountains, farmland and cities through a calculated execution and highly refined draftsmanship.
Just as the West Coast Abstract Expressionists (1940 to 1970) found California’s striking landscape fertile ground, so does Langford as he draws upon his geographic environs both near and far.
Through his cartographic mastery, Langford contorts and synthesizes geographic elements, bringing forth paintings that are mysteriously familiar yet surprisingly unconventional. They challenge conventions of geography and landscapes, offering invigorating visions of space and place that transcend any specific locale, leading us to an exhilarating emotional experience.
Chase Langford is represented by galleries in: Seattle, Napa Valley, Healdsburg, Dallas, Maui, and Martha's Vineyard. His studio is in Cathedral City, CA near Palm Springs. (former Los Angeles studio shown in this video)
Chase Langford's paintings have been widely shown at one-person and group exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, Montreal, Palo Alto, Las Vegas, Long Beach, Napa Valley, Seattle, Dallas, Toronto and Palm Springs and included many corporate/public collections (often site specific commissions) such as Long Beach Musuem of Art, Keck School of Medicine at USC, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Star City in Sydney, Australia, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Monique Lhuillier, Inc., Caesar’s Palace, Dykema Grossett LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, Cohen & Lord, Meacham Oppenheimer, Inc., UBS, Nordstrom and Park Hyatt Aviara. He is in private collections in North America, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. Also in the private collections of Magic Johnson and the Saudi Royal Family.
FINALLY a non-superficial/aesthetically-focused studio info/recommendation vid. been on the search for this and there's so much informed and actually helpful information condensed into one video! THANK YOU
thanks. I too searched and searched for a video like this and could not find it so I made one myself. lol. Also check out my "30 Artist Tips" video....it continues many of the same themes.
I FEEL THIS COMMENT 100% Something more realistic.
This is probably why you have over 100,000 views Great marketing!
Hi Zoe, I'm in total agreement with your comments. I LOVE Chases' considered and deliberate approach to his studio layout. I am, alas, so indolent and disorganised I could never accomplish. Quindi, I'm sure we both would/could develop further in our creativity by following his example. May I recommend researching a couple of vid. to you which may help your studio success; the English artists : F. Bacon and L Freud!
@@bencellini4200 Yes. Check the pix of Bacon's studio. Then check the art !!!! Everybody is different and has different needs. Chase's art is beautiful, but I'd feel trapped and choked in such a stark environment.
Update -- I really don't paint only with natural light anymore. I think that was a bit of a "purest" or "romantic" idea. I now use a combo of natural and artificial light so I have more consistent light throughout the day.
Today, there are garage LED strip lights at 5000k in sets of 10 for around 130-140 dollars... a deal, and easy to install.
I was so intent on delivering a lot of info concisely that I was too preoccupied to crack a smile..... I'm a nice fun person, really! ;-) Hope people enjoy the video....this is my best effort on this topic.
I think you have fully utilized your right brain and your left brain. Congrats! Great info. I'm just now planning a garage conversion so your ideas are helpful.
Well Done Chase
Wish I had the Space.
Thank You
Great Art Studio.
👍🏻🍀😎🌈🌞❤️🍀👌🏻
Great video, really enjoyed it. My studio is a fifth of yours I think, but I'm not complaining -- I've spent years painting from my kitchen! My biggest struggle at the moment is that I paint in a variety of media -- watercolours, acrylics, alcohol inks, acrylic inks and oils. I'd love to have a different station for each media (one day!!) but my studio is tiny. I find it gets messy and chaotic very quickly because of this problem, all the different media falling over each other. And a chaotic space leads to a chaotic mind, at least in my case. And yes, I also have an ironing board and bookshelf in my studio, as well as lots of textiles paraphernalia for when I was a creative embroidery student! Goodness, its sounding worse and worse as I type! I need an interior designer to help me out I think!
Cindy -- that's so exciting to turn a garage into a studio. congrats!
Thank you so much for this video. Don’t worry, you seem like a lovely person! Would mind doing a more in depth video telling us how you store your artworks? That would be really interesting! Thank you.
I am redoing the insulation and drywall in my studio, which means I had to move out completely. So now I get to re-think the lighting and what I’m going to bring back in. I really appreciate your tips! It never occurred to me to go all white. I’m going to have to ponder that one. I have wheels on almost everything. I love having rolling carts filled with different types of supplies so I can roll them up to my work area, depending on what I’m doing at the time. One is all of my colored pencils and current sketchbooks, for example. IKEA used to sell the best little clip on lights with really long cords. I’m glad I stocked up because I can’t find them anymore. So useful. And I’m going to create a book from my art. Great idea. Shutterfly often has discounts on little photo books.
thank you, you have an amazing studio and I am impressed with the idea of using book shelves on wheels as tables 👍🏼
Thanks. Often no need to go out and buy new furniture. You can modify existing furniture or build it. My paint cart is a bunch of old cubicles from college.
I am moving into my first studio. It's a small space in a group studio - laid out like college studio spaces. This is a good goal of what to work my way up to.
Thank you for sharing✨
Sound like space will be very much a premium for you, all the more reason to be very strategic with how you use it. Congrats on your first studio!
Hey Chase, I’m a full time artist from New York City for 10 years now and in the city it is such a luxury to have some space to work with, to have high ceilings that sometimes I have to mix everything together like personal/art/office all in one space and sometimes it’s just a mess and it is such a relief to see that it’s possible to have all of these things organized and separated to actually have a view of the mountains to actually have a storage nearby and to have a natural light . I know that being a painter is a crazy ton of work and you go through evolutions of the work space. Thank you so much for spending your time to share your amazing studio it is extremely well organized !!
Anton -- thanks. and keep in mind it does get a bit messy when I'm in full painting mode. Tidy for the cameras! lol
Thank you for this video! It's fantastic. My husband recently mentioned that we need to build a studio for me. So I'm greedily soaking up all this great information, watched your 30 tips video first. My studio will likely only be 10 x 12 so thank you for the put everything on casters idea. Visual noise can be a distraction so limiting content to art supplies and painting everything white may really help me as well. Thanks again.
Forget the Studio THAT VIEW IS CRAZY.
yeah, I really enjoy it and I don't get "cabin fever" here.
Thank you for this video. You've addressed many issues I've not even considered. Maybe I've missed it, but have you ever done a video on how you finish off your paintings to get them ready for sale? Also, do you frame them? No worries about not smiling in your video. You still seem very relaxed and many of us appreciate your sincerity in trying to help others. I thoroughly enjoyed the video and will rewatch it again when it comes time to set up my studio. Thanks again.
Karla --- I used to frame a lot but I find framing problematic.... they would often get damaged by galleries. Now I leave that to the buyer of the work. I do paint the sides gray to get rid of the bight white of the gesso on the sides. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'm going to do another one of general artist tips in about a month.
My take away is to think of FUNCTION and FOCUSED on ART creation. Less is more. Feeling inspired. Thank you.
Absolutely! well said!
Practical indeed but very cold/clinical vibe. Thanks for the tips 🌈
It's funny to me that you expressed concern about your personality on the video. Before I saw your comment, I was wondering how I could comment on this very thing without sounding stalkery. Lol I thought your personality and the way you presented the information was the best part! You seemed genuine, and avoided the irritating music and over the top enthusiasm that some others use. Good information. I'd love to see more videos, maybe of how you work? Thanks!
thanks! yes, more to come!
Hello, your video was so helpful. I was stuggling with a cluttered studio and not creating but now I will be able to make a lot of changes. Thank you so much for your guidance! Hugs from Montana
Awesome! needless clutter = bad! lol. It's so important to be mindful and tale command of your studio space. I'm thrilled this was helpful.
Very practical and informative. I am 75 and have never really ever had a studio for my art. I am currently retired and living in Estonia, converting our old barn into my studio. My wife will be retiring next year and I have to move my art out of the house in order to escape the vacuum cleaner. Your tips and comments have been a big help. I attended the San Francisco Art Institute back in 1969 after serving as an officer in the US Special Forces, From Green Beret to Hippy! then I attended the Art Students League in NYC for a while and then graduated from Monmouth University with a double BA degree in Art and Literature. The problem was, because of LSD, California Red Mountain Vin Rose, pot, and amphetamines, I remember almost nothing from all those years. I have been relearning my artwork and your nuts and bolts approach is refreshing. Thanks again
Glad the video was helpful on your life journey. Best wishes.
Chicago 75. College an art schools.. college deferments.. painter and ..wedding photographer... Paid the bills.. raise the family... We all did the best we could at that time
Great space. Thanks for all the great ideas.
Your very organized. Great tips, TVs.
I like the idea of customizing the shelves and storage depending on your art and methods. Probably worth spending time to make all that. thanks Chase!
Hey Kevin -- It is so empowering and gratifying (and practical!!) to make sure everything is geared toward making the most of your studio.
Mr. Langford, I just stumbled across your UA-cam video, Creating a Great Art Studio, and am thrilled! Thank you for such detailed and essential information. I'm still working at an 8-5 job (it feeds my art!) but am making plans to paint full time. I'm prepping my home studio to make this leap within one year. Your ideas have stimulated my thinking, especially for necessary , functional furniture. THANK YOU!
Hey Patty - you are welcome. Look on my channel for a newer video much like this one.
I am trying to do a small studio for my son in the garage, it is really amazing view of your studio!
Wonderful! Look for my other video like this on my channel.
Thanks very useful tips and i like the pure white and blankness to let those ideas come forward, practicality is a must and open storage so that materials are at hand. I appreciate :) Happy New Year
Thanks Stacy-Ann. Hope the new year your ideas come forth with abundance.
@@ChaseLangfordArtist Thank u! Moving back to the UK very soon after 4 years in Italy so full of inspiration and passion. Wish u a fulfilling year too :)
Hi, thanks for all of the tips! When it comes to easels, since I’m currently looking for one, I wonder if you might know how much of the extra width of the canvas or panel can stick out from the sides when placed on the easel, without it losing its grip. The easel I have in mind is the Mabef M07, a medium easel, which has a canvas holder of about 60 centimeters long. I wonder if it can take canvases or panels almost twice its size in width. Thank you!
I'm a bit of a daredevil and have had 9 foot wide (274 cm) canvases on a medium size easel like the one you mentioned. But I do have a larger easel I use most of the time. Hope this helps.
@@ChaseLangfordArtist Thank you for your answer, very sweet. This definitely helps.
Thank you Chase - I appreciate how organized and functional your studio is - mine is much tighter since I have less space to work with - perhaps one day I might get to a bigger and more productive space - thanks for sharing
Most artists usually need more space, myself included. You saw my studio neat and tidy for the shoot, not when I've got multiple projects in full gear. But I am most grateful for what I have and have been able to make it "bigger" with some of the strategies I mentioned in the film. Best wishes to you!
Well thought out space, especially the white easels and rolling tables. Best of all the video lead me to your paintings on your website!!! I will go back again and again. Now if I can just expand the little painting area in my bedroom. Thanks.
Thank you very much for the openness and all the important information!
This may be one of the best videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. Listening to you describe your art studio and everything you've built that is highly functional is a master class in design, function, lighting, color neutrality, ventilation and organization. You are inspiring to me as I'm daydreaming about building a workshop. Thank you for taking the time to film and share this.
thanks so much. there's another video coming in a couple weeks.
Hi Chase. Your studio setup is excellent. Very spacious and organized. It is luxury to create a studio of this size. I am still searching the option to store my oil paintings. Best wishes. Rajiv Desai
Thx Chase! Great setup!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for your thoughtful walk through of your studio & some if your working process. Much appreciated!
Elizabeth -- you are most welcome. More to come!
Some brilliant ideas! Thanks for all the tips and the studio tour! 🎨
Any time!
You are an inspiration, Chase. I'm going to go to bed tonight and dream of creating beautiful paintings in my own studio. I love what we saw of your work; it's wonderful and you are so organised, as well. Best wishes to you!
omg you are so sweet to say that. I'm so passionate about this. sweet dreams!
Thank you Chase, very helpful! Your studio is amazing!
I learned a lot about what I will do when I design my studio in my garage! Thank you
Great to hear!
Wow! So much good info here! What a refreshing video! Your art is amazing too! Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Some simple but mind-blowing tips for organizing your studio. It's the little things....
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the tour, its great to see others ideas!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge so generously. I learned a lot from you in this video. Learning is such a beautiful journey and having professionals who are kind enough to share is so inspiring. Wishing you much inspiration and prosperity.
You are so welcome!
Thank you! This really helps me to figure out to figure out how create a studio within my small "Live/Work" loft apartment. Who needs a living room, anyway :)
my first studio was my entire bedroom in my tiny apartment in Santa Monica. I slept where the small dining table should have been.
Fantastic studio and gorgeous paintings! I love the white on everything too but I believe the glare from it would skew colours too much and believe in a grey neutral, matte wall, palette and equipment.
oh..... all gray, that's probably a good idea. Thanks for sharing that. White gives me the most ambient light but I can see how gray is a great way to go too.
Hello I just now for the first time that you and I appreciate your sharing what you’re doing in your studio I’m pretty much I knew we had Art Work professional musician all my life and now is my later years how to take a nap fine arts and I have a feeling extremely passionate about it and trying to learn everything I can from great people like yourself thank you so much
You are so welcome!
Thank you for sharing. What a wonderful space! I certainly understand the need for privacy and wish I could stop unwanted intrusions. When I'm painting it's difficult to get back to that place in my mind after an interruption.
yep...... I hear ya!
Thank you very much for this amazing video! I was in a car accident and ended up in a wheel chair for a year and now a permanent disability. I’m new to art and it has been so therapeutic so far and I hope i can help my wife support the family again through my art! Your studio and art has inspired me so much. Can you please tell me how you finish the sides of your art? Thank you again for your inspiration maybe one day I can meet you to thank you in person. Have a wonderful week.
I paint them a neutral gray.
Chase Langford thank you so much for responding! Your work is so amazing and very inspiring! Can you please give me some recommendations on where to buy great quality stretched canvases I tried to find info for Art’s Canvas but no luck with that. Thank you again for all you do to help us new artist have a wonderful day.
thanks a million, great production, now i can do it thanks to this ONE video. dankeschon!!!
Great to hear!
Thanks for this video.
You have a great studio my friend. Many artists, myself included, would love to have such a beautiful workplace.
thanks. I have a new studio now and will do another vid at some point.
@@ChaseLangfordArtistThat's so cool. I'm looking forward to that video.
Hopefully you make many more great paintings in your new studio.
Im still painting in my living room. lol.
I'm working in my studio organization since june, but absolutely nothing was enough, and everything kept messy. But now I really realize how much stuff I have! I need to take some distractions NOW!
sounds good.
Love the studio! too bad in Canada we'd either freeze to death or go broke trying to heat an extra space. Time to move somewhere warm :D
Being in coastal California means I can usually have the windows open year around. I love a breeze and fresh air. Canada is such a wonderful country. You are blessed.
Very interesting and helpful, inspiring. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Great ideas....I'm moving in to a new home and need to convert a bedroom in to a studio.
wonderful. rip out the carpeting, paint the walls pure white, add lots of lighting, and make it 100% studio. Best fo luck.
@@ChaseLangfordArtist thanks!
Sharp intelligence on one hand and smooth sensibility on the other. As an architect, I appreciate your space consciousness.
I'm a big fan of architecture and have a lot of architect friends. My career really took off when Gensler in LA sponsored a huge 40 painting solo show in 2008 (when they are at their Santa Monica location). At the opening, attended by 500+, two art dealers offered me representation. I still work with both of them today.
Cup holder, brilliant!
Chase, I met an artist in Provincetown, MA who stored his paintings in a similar fashion as you, but set up in such a way that he could turn them as in pages in a book.
oh yes, that's a really nice way to do it. Some galleries have that kind of set up.
There is an emptiness in the soul that sadly nothing can fill, except Art
Yes! And music.
Huh?...harsh and narrow thought. A partner, a child, a commitment to some purpose.... art is ony one part of a whole life.
@@cliffdariff74 in a way that's exactly what I tried to say by saying there is an emptiness. of course there are marvelous things out there in life that can fill our souls and they do it, for sure. Maybe you got confused because of the use of the word "sadly", no sadness in this regard, I used the word as an intensifier. I just tried to say that, in my mind, (I'm not an erudite) there is a kind of vacuum, existential emptiness I feel personally on life and has nothing to do with depression or anything like that, but for a strange reason (again, not from an erudite) art... Art suits perfectly and can take a life to plenitude. Of course we have to feel relatively ok about our lives in general before expecting art, or anything alike for that matter, to give us a purpose. Sorry if I can't explain further, English is not my mother tongue.
Wow! This is such great insight! Thank you so much!
you bet!
Thank you for sharing. Great tips.
This is very helpful. Thank you for sharing. I don’t have storage space and we are thinking of having a drop down storage area.
create usable space wherever you can! ;-)
Thank you that was very informative. What a view I'm not sure I would get any art done with a view out my door like that. LOL
It is nice to look out into the distance after staring so intently to a canvas up close. thanks!
Thank you! Nice video, well organized, & to the point.
Glad it was helpful!
Love your tips, thank you!
thanks..... i am no expert.... just trying to share what I've learned. ;-)
Brilliant film showing fixtures and fittings very cleverly adapted. So helpful. Thanks ! 👍🏼👏🏻
Thanks Sam. Good light is vital. Cheers!
Thank you, Chase. Though I’ve been painting for years, we just moved into a house that provides a dedicated studio space. (about 500 sq feet!) Your thoughts have been really helpful. My challenge is budgeting for flat files. :)
I got my flat file used for a bargain..... look on Craigs List.
Oh Chase, you did a fine job with this tour - I felt as if I was in the room with you and you were talking to me like a good friend! In a few months, after my roommate leaves, I plan to transfer my small corner art studio (currently in my bedroom) into the second master suite. I’m so excited because now I will have most everything in one bigger room with good lighting and a bathroom!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Laweez N stated almost my exact thoughts. I was impacted positively by your presentation in this video (and the others I watched after this one). Your words (tone, volume, inflection, and intent) are smiling, even if you are not outwardly doing so. Your kind spirit shines through as you speak! :) I get a sense that you are a very empathic person, and I wish the world were full of more people like this. Your studio is wonderful, and your art is very beautiful! The surrounding landscape must be very inspiring. I would love to see more videos - maybe on what inspires you toward a particular painting or series. Thank you! :)
Wow, those are such kind and flattering words! thank you. In May I'm doing another "artist tips" sort of video which will be the last of that sort. But following that, probably released in summer, will be a serious high production value film about my art, inspiration and much more. stay tuned and until then hugs to you.
Wonderful again, thank you Chase! 💖 I had one of the tables built the exact size of a ping pong table, and painted it blue. I use it for art, and when tired, we play table tennis on it. 😀
Sounds great!
So many great tips! Thanks Chase you are very inspiring!!!! And I love your work :]
Melody -- thanks, so sweet of you to say.
Really helpful. Thanks so much!
For more insight into how I work you might want to view "CHASE LANGFORD : MORPHIC RESONANCE" here on UA-cam. Thanks! (not on my channel, it is on "ERIC MINH SWENSON" Channel)
Sir your art studio is just so amazing, I loved the way you explained every single details of the essentials. This was the best video on studio essentials I've found so far. I especially loved the view outside your studio, it is so calm and relaxing.
Thank you so much 😀
Oh, I LOVE all the great ideas you've shown us. I definitely plan to utilize a few Thank you for sharing your studio.
Terrific. Just terrific.
Once I make three or four thousand dollars from the paintings I create in the tiny spare room in my rented three room apartment, I’ll have a grand well equipped, well lighted, well ventilated personal studio built to my specifications. Watch for my video!
super cool.....can't wait to see it.
This is such a well organised and well thought out studio. I have difficulty with the business end of things keeping people organised document sales and that sort of thing I would love to see a more intensive video on that area of your business. I do have another question why do you put five layers of paint before you begin painting.
I apply many layers of gesso to build up the richness of the paint surface. Then many layers of oil paint as I paint and repaint and then repaint some more to get to the final work. For my art I don't want a thinly painted or quickly executed piece. My paintings evolve over time and need a really good foundation of gesso. I hope that answers your question. As far as record keeping I am methodical and record every relevant detail.
Also, have you done a video on the document work of how you put together all sales for a organized ledger ?
no I haven't but I bet you can figure it out.
I am incrediLBY critical and cynical, generally but this was an EXCCELLENT video! Thank you.
lol...... hey Paul.... thanks.... so nice of you to say. I have another one on here called "Artist Tips" ...cheers
Thank you very much, I really like the way you've organised the space. I'm starting to reorganise everything in my studio and I've found lots of good ideas.
I also like putting labels on all the drawers and storage boxes, it saves a lot of time and peace of mind.
Wow
I also like to have a mirror hung opposite where I usually work so I can look at the artwork backwards, it really helps me notice things from a fresh perspective
interesting tip. thanks.
Thank you so much for your generous tips on studio organization! I need to reorganize my modest home studio to accommodate a series of larger work and your videos are making me excited to optimize my space. Love how creatively you modify existing materials to meet your needs. Instant sub!
Great video, packed with relevant useful information. Your meticulously clean white space is beautiful. Thank you for all of the ideas.
Loved the paint cup holder you made. What a great idea!
it's the little things that can really help. glad you liked the holder, I was worried I was geeking out. lol. keep painting!
Hey i am you 1000th subscriber. Really. By the way love and support from India
Oh wow, thanks for letting me know, I would have missed that milestone.
My "studio" is my 9x13 bedroom :-( any tips for SMALL spaces? perhaps in a future video?
Vertical storage. Use the height of the room to create storage shelves, etc.
Thank you, Sheryl.
Thank you for this, I really like your all-white, I'd like that too - and good light, plus I need QUIET: I live in a rented place too near centre of town with no noise (or temperature) insulation and it's exhausting hearing neighbours, road works, everyone's garden work, plumbing, cars & trucks, shouting, I live in France so men playing boules too CLACK-CLACK - sometimes until 1a.m. ... Huge admiration for the things you've made or changed and wheels = yes, so long as they don't move too easily just by nudging/using them. I love your work and it's really interesting to see your studio = thank you very much, I'm so envious of it: mine is chaos and because of my brain injury I can't organise it properly!
Hi Jenny. My gosh your place sounds challenging. Can you play some soft music to help distract from the mayhem outside? You can get wheels that have a locking mechanism to keep them fixed in place when you desire. Best wishes to you.
May I suggest ear plugs or wifi headphones...I found that I got used to the earplugs quickly. Once I'm in the zone, I don't notice them. I used to have to use the earplugs because I lived in a busy household.
@@wwcreations1 thank you for your reply. I use earplugs every night (they hurt my ears = maybe I need expensive moulded-to-my-ears ones?) but can still hear way too much: since my brain injury my hearing has become very acute. My head is super-sensitive too (and injured neck) and I think I'd have big trouble wearing headphones and would feel cut off in case there was something I needed to hear like the telephone. But I'm glad they work for you, personally I really need to live in a noise & temperature-insulated flat (the walls+ here aren't built properly and temperature varies between 6C and 33C!) and in a quiet area.
Thank you for sharing 💚 IM loving your space.. Great lighting for sure
Because I work with acrylics it’s important for me to have a sink with access to water for refreshing my buckets
I love how organized you are and that you keep your studio White without distractions, I especially loved your tray with the plastic cups, Since I am a flight attendant I felt right at home.
I'm the opposite of Francis Bacon who famously had a messy studio. lol
I admire that you augmented your easels, though making your own would have been more economical and you'd have gotten a better easel :) Nearly every easel I have seen, (commercial production made easels) has been very much made for non-professional home based artist, and is best used for paintings less than 24x48"... not very industrial or solid with larger formats.
I think they were pretty good to start with but I wanted to customize. I think it is in the nature of artists to have very specific needs.
So helpful. Thanks for posting!
Thank you for sharing this video. Very detailed, and I love your professional set up!
Love your channel!!! You give very useful tips on studio design and artworks!! New subscriber here! I really find the fingerprint behind every artwork a nice touch! More power to you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Hey I got that same fan
what? they made more than one? lol
Some wonderful ideas! Thanks Chase!
Thank you for sharing! Greetings from the Netherlands
I love the Netherlands!!!
I like the idea of using two sets of bookshelves with a board on top for a table. Great ideas!
the top board was a one inch thick 48 x 96 sheet of good grade plywood then I had to trim it down a bit.
"THANK YOU, MR. CHASE LANGFORD! - FROM BRASIL!" - M.S.C.
thank you back! It was fun to do and I have more studio design ideas so i may do another video. cheers to you.
Great studio, if only I had the space!🤨
I’m h
Great studio, and a lovely tour with quality information for other artists!
Can't wait to have such a dedicated studio for art making myself.
Glad you think this will be helpful.
Very clear Chase, thanks! We're "hobby" artists and looking to create a studio so that we stop staining the wood floors in our home! Any update on your 2021, 190m2 studio layout? Thanks
no update yet.... too busy painting. maybe this summer.
Chase, if you don't mind my asking... Who did your book publishing???
Blurb.com -- they are fantastic. Organize your images and format for the book before you start. I have found that helps.
who is your canvas maker,, are they all the same?
I have someone local here in Los Angeles.
Thank you very much for sharing your time and space with us.
Just loaded a new video on my channel: "30 Artist Tips"
