I still remember when I saw this MV, I was shcoked. It was 2010, I was 2nd year in college and Kpop was slowly getting popular in my country through K drama OST. At that time, there were very limited Kpop artists that we know such as Rain, Fin KL, etc and Kpop wasn't even that popular outside of Korea. And most of the male idols group were like handsome, sweet, pretty kind of vibes. As an 18 yrs old at that time, I was like okay, these boys are cute and fun to watch their pretty faces. And I thought all groups are like that. But boom! When I first saw this MV, I was so shocked, my jaw dropped. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. It was the whole new world for me. I mean he is not even the most handsome compared to other Kpop boys I saw, but his aura, his voice, his flow, his expression is insane. I was obsessed. He truly got one of a kind aura. And since then, I couldn't escape from GD and here I am, in my 14 years of VIPs life. And watching this MV is one of the best things I did in my life.

Like I can watch videos of him all day but I think it's also because of his mannerisms and his personality that really shines through. The Korean word for apple is sagwa (사과) which also means apology. GD and the girl are constantly breaking up and getting back together. The apples represent the times they apologized and got back together.
