Im considering traveling overnight (just one night) coach with my child. Im worried about losing our spots next to each other while in the observation car. Amtrak cant guaranteed and i dont want to rely on the kindness of strangers. Did yall have any trouble with this..or any tips? Thanks!
Once you're seated, your seat is yours, even if you get up and move around. We always had someone in our spots with our stuff, but there is a tag that stays above your seat with your destination. It doesn't get removed until that destination is reached.
dear,Enjyed~ you did fantastic uploading. )
Hi! 👋 Fellow travel family here! We really want to do a cross country train trip, so this was fun to watch and hear about your experience!
Yay! Glad it was helpful. Do you know where you’d start and end?
@@LearnersandMakers not yet! We would prob start in the northeast or Chicago area and end in CA.
I have traveled train myself and enjoy it also.
Would love to hear where you traveled! Was it scenic?
My spouse & I will be overnight 10/22 on City of New Orleans to & from Chicago coach both ways.
That sounds amazing! Will you be in a sleeper car? Coach?
Two days, in car, *maskless

Did you have a fever or loss of taste with Covid.
We had fevers, but didn’t experience loss of taste or smell.
