Thanks so much for watching. We've spent a lot of time researching and perfecting our processes. Unfortunately, the brand of wax we use for all of our products must remain a trade secret as company policy.
I think a little pie box would be a fantastic idea, even though it adds more to the cost. I think customers would really appreciate it and it would add to the realism.
If your wax is sticking to the pan, it's not the temperature that's the issue. You'll need to try a different wax altogether. We use a food-grade paraffin blend.
Hi, Thanks for watching! It sounds like the wax you've chosen is either a little too hard or you're trying to mold it when it is too cool. Also, some of the vege waxes out there seem to be either in a state of being melted or hard - there is no in-between. You need to use a wax that remains pliable for a time as it cools.
Hi Steve, We make the fruit as well with silicone molds of the different fruit shapes. You can search the internet for 'wax embed molds.' There are many to choose from!
Thank you so much :) I have never maid a single candle in my life but hoping to soon I love art and candle making is right up there:) u do not by chance sell any products, like the wax or the molds etc?
Hi Stacy, Are you referring to the topping at the end that make the pie look 'juicy?' The final topping is a gel wax which has these characteristics when it is cool.
Do you give your recipe for the pies such as the ingredients for your crust and your fruits? Your candles are beautiful and I would love to learn how to make them.
Hey, I absolutely love this you have inspired me to try a pie candle, I was wondering what wax you use...I read through the comment and completely understand that your manufacturer is a top secret...but I was wondering if you could say what kind of wax it is ex. Soy or Parafin, hopefully you can answer this. And again great creative candle it is absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing the process with us.
Hello, thanks so much sharing & making this lovely vid. I was so inspired by you that I tried making my 1st pie. But unfortunately I'm not sure what I did wrong cause my "crust" kept on cracking & breaking into small pieces as I was molding it onto the pan. How do you get your crust piece to look so softened after waiting a 1/2 hour? And not hard like mine was :( Please kindly help by letting me know what I'm doing wrong. Thank you so very much.
Love these candles. Could you possible say what brand you use? I would like to try this but don't want to waste my money buying the wrong wax. Thanks :)
I love ur pies. I just ordered stuff to try and make one. U did a great video and ur lies are so real looking and beautiful. May I ask what wicks u used. Please? I know ur mixing two kinds of waxes. Gel and regular wax so I am curious so I know. Thanks for the wonderful video to help all of us
Hi Alisha, So glad you like them! The spice is cinnamon, and the wax formula is a trade secret. The pecans are molded from wax and the glaze is a special wax known as 'gel wax.'
those would have to be real aluminum pie pans. you can get them in large quantities on amazon - just look for the size you want. and i am sure those are wax pecans - they probably used a mold. i don't think they could add real food to that, but i'm not sure.
I like how the gel topping kind of looks like caramel sauce. Do the wicks have to be wax coated in order to work? I noticed that you coated some of the wicks with the gel, but not all of them. Is there a particular reason for you do it that way, or did you actually coat all of them but not show it in the video?
I’m sure this candle is going to look great. However ladies if you are thinking about making candles. There is so much more than wicking and wax. Every fragrance oil changes the wax blend so there is a lot of experimenting before you find the perfect wick, wicks come in several sizes and it is crucial for a prober burn and scent throw. As I’m listening I hear she’s using Gel wax so I’m guessing these candles are for show and not aroma? Gel wax does give off a strong aroma. Another thing is the temperature that you pour the wax. There are many waxes on the market with many many variables & formulations. Making the best candle takes a lot of patience and testing. I think if you are going to teach candle pouring you should include everything. Just my opinion lol I know candle makers never like to share there formulas lol . Good luck!!!
I can't lie. You could have done a lot better. It would have been best if you had made sure the glaze coated all the pecans thoroughly, and had crimped the crust.

These are beautiful candles, the best ive seen! They look so real. Awesome job!

Hi Steve, We make the fruit as well with silicone molds of the different fruit shapes. You can search the internet for 'wax embed molds.' There are many to choose from!

She used gel wax
Thank you so much :) I have never maid a single candle in my life but hoping to soon I love art and candle making is right up there:) u do not by chance sell any products, like the wax or the molds etc?
these are neat!! great job!!!
Thanks Ania :)
you should pour the wax for the crust in the pan 1st then add the ''spices'' and they would settle more evenly and would look better
Hi Stacy, Are you referring to the topping at the end that make the pie look 'juicy?' The final topping is a gel wax which has these characteristics when it is cool.
them look good
I thought you did an awesome job making these pies.
Appreciate the video

what is the glaze made of at the end is it just wax that makes it look shiny love this video thanks
It was hard to watch her pour on the “glaze” with it getting all over the wicks and crust. My inner Virgo is screaming and ripping it’s hair out.
Did you color the crust with dye?
cool i want to do this
If you don’t have a pie tin what else can you use to make the crust/put your candle in?
these are amazing! my only suggestion is to cut the wixs before adding the glaze.
what is the
glaze made of? pies look delicious
What device do you use to cit the wax for the crust and what is your glaze made of? Thanks so much!
I'd like to ask if your wax is soy or gel? I'd like to try this but unsure about making pecan embeds. Looks awesome.
Love these candles. Could you possible say what brand you use? I would like to try this but don't want to waste my money buying the wrong wax. Thanks :)

Went to your web site pies are not listed I think these are awesome!! What size are they and price please

What kind of a bag are you using to package it? I love that it’s seen through the bag.
It is a clear cello bag. You can purchase them from any paper products company like Nashville Wraps or Paper Mart 😊
Where do you get the wax fruit ?
what are the spices and wax formula you use for the crust? how did you make the pecons, and gaze? i love these :D
Hi Alisha, So glad you like them! The spice is cinnamon, and the wax formula is a trade secret. The pecans are molded from wax and the glaze is a special wax known as 'gel wax.'
what wax do you use for the crust?
We use a highly-refined, food-grade paraffin wax.
where did you get the molds at for the pecans? thanks
So cool! Is the glaze sticky once set?
Megan Ren Hi Megan, the glaze stays tacky but not really sticky 😊
Hi Linda, It is actually a product called 'Gel Wax.'
Beaut icily !! Looks Real , Are those real pie pan, that actually real pie come out of the store, and real pecan Great job !! Thanks for sharing

hi deanna what is the shiny stuff you put on top of the pies.

I think you could have done a better job on the crust like making it so there isn’t a gap where you broke it off
What is that tool you are using to cut the crust?
Where do you purchase your wax and scents fron
Margaret can you please tell me what wax you use to make a pie crust I am in Gt Britain abd I can not find how to make pie crusts anywhere Thankyou
These make me hungry. Not a fan of the packaging though...I think the pie candles look best sold on a tray.
or little "pie boxes" or a little pan like they're sold in stores.
If you Google 'gel wax' you should be able to find a number of suppliers.
Hello I love your candles is that real honey or melted wax for the top
Marisa Rouillon Hi Marisa! It’s actually a gel wax on top that stays juicy looking after it’s cool 😊
That’s so cool. They look so perty that I would never burn them ;) Come get some Catspit~! ☠
What size are the tins I bought some off of Amazon. They’re like 4 inches but they’re not deep enough.
We used a 5” tin
@@hatcreekcandle oh ok awesome thank you your candle pies look amazing
What are the little pecans made of?
wax is what the pecans are made of
Victoria Bermudez Wingo
wax and they embed molds you can use for them
This may be a stupid question but are those real pecans?
I wish there was a such thing as smellovision T.T
They look real, but they are also made of wax!
were those real pecans?
she is not saying about the temp, or the colours she uses
Could I ask, what type of wax you use? I'm guessing it's soy, but what kind of soy wax?
is those real pecans
Been easier just to bake the damned pie. Lol. Very pretty though. Really quite brilliant.

+Yoachan i think these little imperfections in the glaze make the candle more realistic
How can you be happy sending a product out like that? Looks like a kid made them
