Great observation. I noticed the same thing in the case of Chante Moore. Everything about them was so much more sophisticated in comparison to the singers of today who are the same age.
Christopher Williams is from my neighborhood in The Bronx and my mom and her friends use to hang with him and support his music, but the music industry didn’t know how to handle such a MAN in the music. He sung like a MAN and he had that old school New school vibe. It’s sad that It took unsung to come out for people to understand him and his music. But his community been supporting our brother for years 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️
Andre E They preferred time air his current single at the time. It was likely a time thing. BUT they should’ve kept this performance as unplugged highlights things that the masses may not have gotten elsewhere (Like Lauryn Hill’s unplugged years later)
