- The Grim Expanse Map mod is playable in Path of Titans!
This 8km x 8km map is set in a sprawling, arid desert, littered with abandoned ruins and freshwater oasises. Expect a difficult time surviving on this map with water being scarce and predators being able to see you from far distances.

Seeing this map again really brings back a lot of memories of playing it on The Isle, I am glad to see it again. Plus the great balance of predator to their respective prey was very well established in this promo, great work guys. The hype is real!
I remember playing this map on the legacy days of the Isle, those were good times. It's good to see this map being used again, after modding was removed for the Isle.

Kinda sucks, I would get this game if only there weren't this drama behind it.
When a developer left they messed up all mods on the isle and we lost this awesome map glad it's returned to us finally it's been to long.

I'm really happy to see this map being brought into PoT and put to use. The dinosaur's look so good on this map
Animations on dinos seem stiff or janky sometimes but Im not gonna be whiney about. Just observing. I figure more work will go into them. The game looks amazing so far. I remember those old days on the Isle for this modded map. glad you all are getting it too!
I thought it had something to do with lag with them being online but I do see what you mean.

i believe it was jiggys second time doing animations or something? so shes not a professional but she did a great job for being relatively new to it. i also believe that these dinos are fully fleshed out, like the spino and sucho have all their anims mostly done, but these dinos shown have older animations which may change ^^

All the Dinos look amazing! Great work!
On desertic maps like this, the performance are greatly improved thx to the low amount of vegetation. Mobile player gonna like it I believe

Out of all the modded maps, my favorite was the Oasis map alongside this one. The fact you guys are having modded maps in PoT makes me kinda wanna play PoT now.

My favourite old isle map was Terra Vitae
I MISS THIS MAP SO MUCH!!! It was a mod for The Isle. I used to use the dips and rises and sneak across what looked like open, flat sand. Did it as the old bary too, so you could get away with doing that while the size of an allo. I was a sneaky bastard. >:)
It's a gorgeous map... Can't express enough how happy it makes me to see it back in use.
Anyone else having some Disney's Dinosaur flashbacks with the heards traveling the desert looking for water and predators close behind or is it just me?

@@wreylax6068- Carno won’t be in the game, but its close relative, the Pyconemosaurus, will be. And there will definitely be Carnos in mods.

This is an awesome map to show dinosaurs living in a harsh, desolate land like this.
Now, we need a day/night system, and sandstorms.
Seems like only yesterday were people hiding from hypos on the top floors of the ruins.
i remember playing on this map on the isle long ago and loving it, great to see it coming back to my new favorite dinosaur game

All the apex walk animations look the same. The tails look too flimzy imo. I'd love to see them have more individual personalities tbh. Apart from that I can't wait to give it a go.

Good to see for the first time a good balance between species without any of them having an unrealistic advantage over another, which is sadly common in dinosaur/animal games.

If only Dondi fixed the dev kit sooner The Isle could've been playing on that map again. It was one of my favorites aside from the much smaller Irish looking one with the stone circle and the Alien desert map, too. :Y

I remember getting stalked and chased by a pack of Spinosaurus' in the buildings as a T.rex, but luckily a Puetrasaurus stomped on them.TRIPLE KILL.

I'm not going to lie, its rather weird seeing Camptosaurus this small in a game that usually seems to have their body proportions really laid out well. Minor nitpick, but it's nothing like it was in real life. Still looks great though.

This game will become AMAZING, REALLY REALLY good job.
But, if there is something that I don't like, is the ancient architectonic decoration. It's not bad, it's cool, but I never think that Path of Titans will be like The Isle, you understand me?? That it has "human existence", you know? But it's not a problem for me, of course, I love this ame, but I hope a realistic dinosaur game, thanks and good job 😃👍

@aeStHetIc woAh there are a few very small Isle communities I'm part of that don't get traffic above 15 players at a time most night. Stoneclaw Highlands is perfect for communities like that
