Gorgeous walks, what a difference in the weather! The second walk looked really steep but stunning views. Loved the chicks 🥰 Did you manage to retrieve your sunglasses? 😮
Mount Cook is stunning. The hooker valley looked stunning back in 2020 better than the drizzly day you had on this day but always worth the hike. I was there in December and had 1 day, it was stunning, the following day it was no good so got lucky. And as you mentioned there are a lot of tourists first time I did it was just over a year ago and while I know December is holidays - sooooo.... many ....... tourists
We did this earlier this year and there were icebergs. I'm older (old) and not as fit as you two so walking Hooker Valley was a real win for me! The day after we did the Tasman Glacier lookout walk and my partner assured me it was flat... haha... 330 steps later and I had my phone set to 0800 divorce lawyer :) Sealy Tarns looks horrendous (for me) so I'm glad you did it so I don't have to.
Amazing scenery xx
Thank you 🙏😄

What stormy weather, but you braved it anyway! The scenery was worth it. The birds were so cute. Thanks for bringing us along. _ Michelle
