Wah, kya baat hai! It is said that it was Nand (Anandi Kalyan) which was perceived as one of the masterpieces of the Jaipur-Atrauli repertoire during the time of Ustad Alladiya Khan sahib and there are fabled stories of an incredible rendition of the raga by Manji Khan sahib, the son of Ustad Alladiya Khan sahib and guru of Mansur ji. True to his stature as the 'Arjun' of the gharana's gayaki, Mansur ji has produced a magical rendition, coaxing the beautiful raga ever so gently and culling out its innate aesthetic.
