    How much scientific and logical we were in our old days that too thousands and thousands of years back.!
    All the knowledge that these foreigners and have discovered and invented, have already been discussed in our Puranas and Vedas be it any field of science.
    Our Rishi Munis were not less than Scientists.
    Let's bring back that glorious history to our children and for future generations. So that they may get rid of colonial mindset and fake history that are being taught to us.
    Thank you for all your efforts.❤️

      This is soo true, and a harsh reality that even after independence we are blindly following colonial education system....Leaving the richest sources of studies which is our veds and upnishads ... I think that is the most prominent reason behind india being a developing nation moving towards under developed nation than being a developed nation.
      I hope that atleast the subscribers of the sanskrit channel understand it very well.

    Thanks for sharing this knowledge. Thousands of years of R & D and by trail and error method our ancestors passed this knowledge by generations. In the past 300 years due to external conflicts we are totally blindfolded. The things which used to be our lifestyle now became superstitious, there are no more gurukul to teach ways of life. I appreciate this channel ❤️ for sharing this knowledge and good luck to your team.

    • @Abhyuday121
      @Abhyuday121 4 роки тому

      :) Such knowledge is not gained by trial n error ! It's more of what the sages got through meditation.
      '300 years of conflicts' sounds political ! Both, islamic and Christian systems have concepts of lunar months, although their accuracy and detail is an issue. But that's not something we should brag about!

    • @rikicool7499
      @rikicool7499 4 роки тому +1

      @@Abhyuday121 Well I didn't brag about another religious system I simply meant in terms of war and violence which itself changed the lifestyle. Thus steady decline in art, literature there by quality of life.
      It's people hard work that we are here and now. Sages where more scientific than you are now. Now please go meditate and do something good to the society. My comment was to appreciate the channel then your entry was very rude and completely out of track. Don't find your own meaning when you don't understand.

      @Smitha Raghavan Dear Smitha (and all 'Hindus' around), 'Hindu' is not a Sanskriti word. It's a Pashto (Afghan language) word which is a geographic reference to all people living east of Indus (from Afghanistan).
      To call a spade a spade one shall need to switch of one's TV and stop playing (unknowingly) into the hands of IT cells of political parties.
      Our dharm isn't called Hindu, it's called the Sanatan (eternal) dharm (duty).
      All vedas, puranas, quran, bible, buddhist & jain literature is available online. Try reading them by your own.

    I'm Serbian and I study Sanskrit and I can say that there is an incredible similarity with the Serbian language. There are thousands of the same words, their etymology, as well as the grammatical system that is the identical, the infinitive of verbs and many other things. I would dare to say that the Serbian language, unlike other European languages, is the closest to Sanskrit (let's say a forgotten European relative)😊

    Like Swami Vivekananda said, we need to learn western science but still maintain what our Vedas and Upanishads and Vedic sciences have been passed on for generations...
    If the entire world is a house then the Mandiram of that house is the Bhaarata Desam... but if we ourselves are struggling with our identity by trying to adopt western practices and give prominence to western culture and language at the expense of our own, this world as we know it will become a Materialistic hub house with no inner evolution and development.
    Mr. Shreyas, keep up this fantastic piece of work. When the champions of our country will work towards the Revival of the Bharatvarsha, you'll be one of the forerunners to have set them on this path.

    Thanks for this information, my late father , although a govt employee had immense faith and interest in our traditional ancient knowledge and the sanskrit language . He was also an avid reader of the same and was more kind of philosophical. Sadly I was not so deeply interested in the same while he was with us but after his demise somehow I had an immense connect with that as if he was guiding me . Thanks once again for being a good source of knowledge.

I know this because Bengali Nobo barsho/Pohela Baishakh, coincides with Tamil Puthhandu, as also punjabi Baisakhi which is actually a derivative of the name Vaishakh

    Very clear explanation with the help of animation. That's what is required. There is no further research in vedic sciences and very less effort to reach out to the common man. While there is enough research in modern science and is in very easy reach of common man. The foreign invaders did not just invade our country they destroyed the glory of all these sciences. Enough funding is required in research on these science and also proper recognition for the teachers and people who use these applications. We rarely have any universities teaching such subjects

    Few points:
    1. The lunar months are named after the nakshatra on/around which full moon occur.
    2. The correlation you cited here are of Purnimanta months. But in Siddhanta Jyotisha Mukhya Chandramasa are Amanta ones. In that case lunar Chaitra month (Amavasya) happens during Mesha rashi transit of sun. And so on.

    In Nepal we use Baisakha,jestha,Ashada,shrawana as our months. Our official calendars too use this sanskrit months. In Nepal year 2077 is running. International calendar is rarely used in Nepal.

    Thank you for this. Having this all explained in English is a God send. I'm very interested in the history and reasoning behind three aspects of our calender: 1) Purnima-anta (south and west India) Vs Amanta (north and east India) convention in the lunar months. 2) Why a minority of Hindus dont celebrate New year in Chaitra/Mesha (ie. Mainland Gujarat, Saurashtra, Newaris on Kartik Shukla Pratipad and Kutchh region on Ashada Shukla Dwitiya). 3) Background to different samvants (eras such as Shaka, Vikram etc). Will you be covering this??

    Baisakh,jestha,ashar,shrawan,bhadra, ashwin,kartik,mangsir,poush,magh,falgun,chaitra is used in our nepali national calendar...Here,we use bikram sambat as year and have holiday for new year on baisakh 1..and one adhik masha is known as "mala masa" which is in this year.thats why our national fesitvals dashain, and deepawali is delayed by on e month

    Bhaiya i am not able to understand the difference between nakshatra and rashi.
    Please please please can you also make such videos in hindi because understanding such concepts in english is making it more difficult to understand.
    I don't know why such rich sources of knowledge and logical counting is not tought in school...
    I remember the only thing I did in school was just to cram all the things..
    All thanks to you bhaiya who is making us available such good things to learn😊😊
