This is the only podcast I ACTUALLY listen to start to finish, to be able to hold the attention of someone with as severe ADHD as myself, is something just short of a miracle xD haha Here's a like and a comment for the algorithm!
Recommended Jack to my son. Like most Adhd he is highly intelligent, very discriminate, not easily entertained & is the best conversationalistist I've ever known.. Pick any subject, he knows enough to make it interesting. His 1st listen and I get my 2nd "Content Thumbs Up" EVER from him ! That is great praise. My first 👍 was awarded for "Three trolls in a baggie, Internet Help Desk". That's how good Darknet Diaries is.. Internet help desk good!!
The fact that I know exactly where in Manhattan this was taking place, even the Marriott hotel they went to, everything was playing out in my head like I was there as well.
The fact that we get to hear both Igor and the target's side of the story is absolutely amazing. I'm on the edge of my seat listening to all this play out.
This episode starts out so fun for me. Igor sitting in his car doing insurance fraud surveillance. I did this for my mom. She was the head of medical for Ingersoll Rand in the late 90s early 00s. She also got the Medicare cases. One case she had me follow a lady that had a bad knee and was collecting Medicare for this. Turns out the pictures i took of her figure skating says her knee wasnt so bad she couldnt work. That was fun work for a 16yr old kid. Staking people out with a huge camera, box of slim jims and case of mtdew for nutrition and with my discman and gameboy for entertainment.
Bro.. I’m so glad I forced myself not to watch your content for a while. Because now I can binge them like crazy! Again, you guys do a perfect job. I just love how often I feel as if I’m watching this but not actually having to stare at a screen. It also makes it way cooler in your head lol
@@dhifqcawawaa you have to watch the video to get it... Edit: I sound like a dick above. Stuff goes over my head too sometimes. If you watched it and didn't get it, I will explain. Otherwise, don't want to spoil it for you.
This is the best podcast I've ever listened. You really know how to captivate the attention and somehow I managed to listen to every single episode in a matter of no time. Some of them, like the piratebay and many others more than once. Thank you for your hard work and for providing so much entertainment and knowledge in the same format.
Last year I played (part of) this in the car with my 6 year old son. Ive never seen him completely shut up and lazer focus on any podcast or show like that. I liked it too.
This might be the best chance meeting I've ever heard of something incredibly amusing about how straightforward Igor is and how he just jumped straight in.
Your podcasts are awesome! Too many podcasters share very useless personal information that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. It's great to listen to super interesting true stories with nothing but the facts and a little bit of insight and opinion from you. Great job! Thanks, Jack!
I wish there was a new one of these everyday from you man. Ive been binge watching them from episode 1 on your website and just cant satiate the craving for more! Thank you for so much great content!!!!
Man it's been 6-7 months that I have step aside from your stories, because I'm addicted and watched all the previous one in like a month and a half, and I was lacking content to eat :D Feels good to be back, but this time I will behave and save some candies for later. Thank you for the work
After hooking up my new UA-cam, I somehow lost darkNETd in the shuffle, I forgot that I missed ya, but now atleast I got some binge worthy DND to catch up on
One HELL of a case study. Imagine if Igor didn't decide to do what he did. Im browsing the Black Cube wiki and its a bouquet of black hearted skulduggery.
Something about there being a wiki about the bad stuff a "covert intelligence organization" has done is mildly comical. Really does make them seem like bumbling spies if it's so easy to keep tabs on them.
@nikoladjordjevic4477 is the distinction Jack is drawing in the current count skipping those older episodes before the nifty animatic with the black/white/red color scheme out? The thumbnails having that inky purple/blue background (if i recall)... shoot now i gotta scroll the back catalog again. That'll hafta wait until after I listen to this weeks #100

What a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. I see a bunch of pawns playing a game they barely understand but the thin surface it all goes deep beyond what they know.

Igor is a FANTASTIC podcast personality, the accent, the enthusiasm, all of it, he's freaking genius
