Roma I quite like all you video. Various reasons I like one major is, you get right to it, no time wasted talking bout unimportant things, you get to the point. Love that!
Right now value for money the DJI pocket three is the best video camera on the market. The fact that it has a gimbal and can follow you with face tracking put it at the top of my list why spend $3000 for a very slightly subjective better look? Great video always.
@@Romafedorov Please consider making a video with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 indoor talking head video but *without* any color grading to see what is the best it can look for those who don't know how to edit. Yes?
Thank you for the video. Would it be possible to make a video showing what's the best indoor talking head videos can look with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 *without* any type of color grading for those who know nothing about editing? Thank you.
I like the fact that you always show the full workflow from the way you shoot to the settings in Final Cut Pro. That’s actually awesome and different from others. Who maybe only show you half of the process. It would be great to see a video on a mobile setup, for instance for traveling and editing on an iPad Pro. I did this in Switzerland and found that there are probably a lot more ways to optimize which I perhaps missed on. Great work! I’m subscribing 😊👏🏽👍🏽
I am used my d-log on vlog recent vlog, but I am still learning about colour grading, but on the second part of my vid I used the standard. Big difference.
Excellent video. Shows how much proper lighting and color grading can make massive differences! I have Color Finale for Final Cut but don't use it to its full potential as coloring is a weakness of mine. Really appreciate the color tutorial!
I’m new to your channel and loving your content. Your color grading is blowing me away. Also a genius idea to use a mask and add blur to the background, I’m definitely trying that!
Hello, what is the recording time you got in action 4 in indoor shooting in 4k with a single battery (I have heard action 4 battery performs worse in indoor situation)?? Can you provide me insights for action 4 in indoor ?
Hi, I have a question about the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Why does the file size of a video change during transfers? For example, a video file may show as 500 MB in the Mimo app, increase to 510 MB after being downloaded to a phone, and then decrease to 180 MB when transferred to a computer. Similarly, why does a file that starts at 500 MB decrease to only 100 MB when AirDropped from the Mimo app or a mobile device to a system? What causes these size changes? 🤷🏻♂️
Roma thank you for such detailed video and color grading tutorial. Do you recommend dji osmo pocket 3 for vlog style videos mixed with some talking head youtube videos. Thinking about buying one or sony zv1. Thanks a lot!
Thanks! For vlogging I'd definitely recommend the Pocket 3. For talking head videos, it can definitely work as I've shown in this video, but personally I'd much prefer using a proper camera for that.
Hi Roma, in your opinion which camara is better for recording youtube videos (playing guitar) indoors between the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 and the DJI Osmo Action 3?
*The Pocket 3 clearly looks the best to my eye. If you noticed ? - The amount of (Moire) patterns erupting on your Blue T-Shirt is the lowest with the OSMO Pocket 3, actually. 👍🎬*
Is it possible to get the highlights looking a bit softer out of the Pocket 3? More similar to the ZV-E1? That's the main thing I notice that looks much better on the ZV-E1, the highlight rolloff
@@Romafedorov That would be great! I love the colours in HDR videos. The Osmo Pocket 3 doesn’t have an HDR screen so you can’t see the effects of HLG 10-bit directly on the OP3 screen. But you can once you transfer to your iPhone.
@@Romafedorov thanks for your advice. I have a Sony ZV-1f which works well but I need other angles. I maybe am better getting another one of those then?
@@thefearlessfemalepod Or perhaps the ZV1 II, which offers more versatility in terms of focal length. However, if the camera is going to be sitting on a tripod, it’s better to invest in a proper camera rather than the Pocket 3. The Pocket 3 is great for vlogging or quick, on-the-go shots but it's not the best ‘tripod’ camera. If your budget allows, consider the Sony ZV-E10 II paired with the Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 for wide shots or the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 for slightly tighter framing. This setup will deliver much better results than the Pocket 3 when used as a tripod camera for podcasting. If you find this too expensive, look at the ZV-E10 Mark 1, with one of the SIGMA prime lenses. Cheers!
I think gaussian blur would be the best if it's available. Just mask yourself out, invert the mask and add gaussian blur only to the background. Hope this helps..
@@Romafedorov no I did not. I asked the question the second it came up and couldn't finish the video because my baby woke up. If didn't want to write the answer you could of just wrote it's in the video.
I loved the Osmo Pocket 3, the only reason that I wouldn't buy it is because it's impossible to use with a capture card to record straight from pc. The webcam mode hasn't the same quality as the default video mode.
I think the first 5 seconds have a low render quality and don’t represent the actual camera quality. Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone else noticed.
I think the colours straight out of the box look really washed out. I would expect better for default settings as I don't want to be messing about too much in post.
The Pocket 3 is a beast!

No worries. There are so many options, take a look at Ulanzi tripods. They have lots of them.

Hi! How much storage does 1 minute of video take with the DJI POCKET 3? I keep seeing it takes around 1 GB per Minute is that true?
yes for 4k30- 1gb
Judging from my Pocket 3 footage, Iit takes about 650MB per minute when shooting in 4k25p (HEVC, D-Log M).

Why doesn't Pocket 3 keep focus on the sides? The left and right sides are blurry. Check the outdoor shots, everything on the left is soapy.
What outdoor shots? I shot this video indoors. And, like i showed in the video, I added the blur to replicate bokeh..
I don't know the point on these UA-cam videos of this "dark side of the face". Guy just doesn't have a rebound light
