Very cool looking and unique. This would be a wrecking machine for what I call a "lap gun" Drive with it on the lap, that round could mean the difference between taking a shooter out right away, or using a short barrel 5.56, not getting through cover, or not hitting them hard enough for an immediate stop.
I just changed out my locking piece (with a 36 degree) and did not have to change rollers. The gap between bolt head and carrier was about .3 ~ .4mm which is in spec so I went ahead and tested it suppressed with my socom RC2 and as far as reliability is concerned, everything ran great! Although it was not as quiet as I thought it would be. Did you change out rollers after you changed the locking piece?
How do you like the eotech on there? I had it on order but not sure how it would fit the HK look and started looking at aimpoints. Picking up my PTR-91 this week!
@@LongRange300 5/8x24 thread pitch. Same as an AR10 since this is an American made g3 clone. It has an aac 7.62 flash hider but I'm not sure if you can buy them anymore because I believe the suppressor is discontinued
I've never had an issue though I've probbaly never fired more than 5 rounds left handed. But the brass seems to literally launch out many many many feet at 3 o'clock so I doubt there would be issue.
Thank you for being witness to the fact that the metal retractable stock is not that uncomfortable to shoot as it is often said. The way some people describe it, it is as if shooting with that stock is some form of torture (so silly)!
PTR welds a picatinny mount onto all their rifles with the exception of their basic GI model. Far superior than any other mount, downside is you can't remove it for an OG look.
Also that's an eotech xps and eotech magnifier with an arms qd mount, but both the magnifier and I believe the mount are discontinued and now newer mounts and magnifiers are available.
@@jrengo87 that's unfortunate, I was hoping there would be little to no blowback out of the ejection port. As a predominantly left handed shooter, this is something I am continually trying to find the best solution for.
Anybody know if the retractable stock end cap will fit over the receiver of a PTR-91 A3S model that's been powder coated, or is the thickness of the powder coat too much for an easy fit?
It should . Commercial HK 91's had something like todays powder coat and they sold them with the retractable stock . Just get one and jam it on there , it'll be fine .
Gospel of Truth Podcast they might. I’m going to get another standard one in case they get astronomical in price. I have a Zenith mp5, Ptr91 K3P and the GI R

Great rifle, you can’t go wrong with a PTR👍
thats a sweet gun dude, loved the G3 ever since i played COD4 as a kid haha
Thank you! Me too that was always my rifle in multi. 🙏🙏🙏

I only changed the locking piece but in my fixed stock I replaced the factory buffer with an enhanced one from hk parts.
I bought an A3S recently and put a trijicon TA11E-G on it. Wish I would’ve gotten a metal lower, but maybe I’ll add one in the future.

No problems at all. I would have left it on there but I got a 1-8 lpvo instead.
Glag you said that stocks not that bad I think it looks soo cool with it on

Hello and good day sir. Thank you for the video. Who make that handguard and is it compatible with the HK bipod?
I got it from rtg parts, you may have to go to the wait list. POF made mine and there are hk brand ones too. Both the same. Both fit the hk bipod.

How is the blowback compared to a DI or Piston AR15?
Pretty hard but very manageable

Get a Larue tranquilo silencer no blow back even with my ptr you also need a brake from larue as well. The brake is excellent
Does it run fine without the silencer with that locking piece?
