@@HandyGaming definitely! Most bands are that way and I hate seeing it happen. Like when Tom left blink 182, I could not listen to Skiba branded blink.
But Matty is AMAZING on stage and really puts his heart into this new role. Hearing him say how much he loved Anberlin growing up really makes me stoked for him
Matty is good but Stephen is anberlin! I like matty in Memphis may fire. I really was excited about what anberlin was doing with new songs like lacerate. I think Stephen will come back full time or even just more often before too long.
When Creed changed singers they called that band Alter Bridge… it worked really well… two huge bands. This is Anberlin… They should change the name of Anberlin for the time with Mullins
@@AdamLock3 I haven’t seen an exact reason but they’re just saying he needed a break away from the band. Last nights show was near his hometown so it was convenient for him
Love Matty but there's no replacing Stephen's vocal cadence. It really gives Anberlin their signature sound.

@@WOATjohn huge agree, super happy for Matty. Seems like he really loves it
hopefully matty will make his own brand
Yes Sir
Literally night and day. Stephen’s voice adds a unique touch on the rock sounds. The other dude makes the band sound like a generic “scene” band
Aww I’m jealous. When I saw them live Stephen wasn’t there.
If Stephen ever starts touring with them again I'm driving up to 3 states away to be there.
Matt is great, but Stephen's stage presence is in another level.
Gives me chills. One of my favorite songs of all time. Saw them play this whole album in Orange County a year or two ago:
@@toddb3414 yeah it put me in the feels live, especially seeing the hugs passed around.
Unbelievable how he sounds as good if not better live, life wtf come to ct Stephen! 😭😭
it's unreal how good he sounded. I didn't expect him to make an appearance but god I am so grateful. I knew I had to record it and share it
Lmao! The "Anberlin?" had me laughing.
Yeah at least they know how the fans feel lol

Nice.
matty is doing great as a fill in but Stephen has crazy stage presence
Matty has great presence too but Stephen is Anberlin. I feel lucky that I got to see both at the same show, and possibly Stephen’s last
“Anberlin brings Stephen Christian on stage…” more like “Karaoke night gets wild when Stephen Christian shows up!”
Its not Anberlin without Steve.
I really have been liking this new Anberlin. I like Matty, but they might have just shot themselves in the foot with this re-appearance of Stephen.
God I miss Stephen being in the band. Matty just doesn’t even hold a candle to
Why Christian is no longer as the main vocal?? Somebody knows??
family and life commitments - he wanted to take some time away from the industry

Altberlin? 🤓
So why isn’t he with them again? Love Matty as a fill in.

Something a long the lines of not wanting to tour anymore due to family reasons.

He taking time off to spend time with his family!
@@mathiassadler4740As he should. I bet the road is tough. Specially when getting older.
