*CORRECTION* The name of the ferry is actually "Ferry Fukuoka" not "Ferry Kyoto", they are sister ships though. Thanks @patreides123 for pointing out! ❤
That is indeed a great deal, USD 80 for the ferry, the small but comfortable room, and dinner and breakfast ! I have never taken a night ferry, because even though I love the water, I get seasick with the tinniest waves.
yup! I have taken the boat on Niles as well. Though the ferry is not as good as those in Japan, the riverside view is so stunning. The palm trees on the desert oasis. That was 15 years ago…
@@tastewithinreach If you ever get the opportunity, go for it. Its amazing, especially if like myself, you are into the ancient history of Egypt (temples, tombs, tomb paintings etc.). And watching the life on the Nile from the comfort of a ship, is a really good way to travel.
@@tastewithinreach Of course, they have identical features. Just some colors are different I think, and because I was on the Kyoto 3 weeks ago (because videos like this inspired me to do exactly that), I noticed this 😊
I have ride an Alaska Cruise before but haven't ride a ferry like this. Though it does not look as luxury as a typical cruise, it seems to be surprisingly good for its price for one night stay!

I have taken several cruises on the nile river in Egypt, and absolutely loved it. But of course, it cant be compared to a night ferry.

Minute I saw the Marriott comment I knew my guide has slept in a Marriott. Good enough, no icebergs.
Thanks for the nice video! The ferry is great for its price and the buffet looks so tasty! I hope to try it one day in Japan.
Thank you!
An interesting ferry. I love the nine-dish tray using in the canteen. its perfect for the buffet meals !😄
I love the tray as well! It's so useful when you want to get a little bit of everything without messing up the plate.
80 bucks you can have a COMFORTABLE ride to JFK from Manhattan. 😂😂😂
Nice Video ! This ship seems to be "Kyoto's" sister ship, the "Fukuoka" though.
Just double checked and yes it should be Ferry Fukuoka. Sorry for the wrong info and thanks a lot for your correction!

@@patreides123 wonder if the food on Ferry Kyoto is the same as the Fukuoka?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the video!
Have you ever take an overnight ferry? Where is it and how's your experience?
