- There's at least one mountain I'll not be going back to again in a hurry! I joined Mountain Mike as he hiked the main Sperrins Range (Mullaghaneany, Meenard, Sawel, Dart & Mullaghclogha) as part of his All-Ireland Hillwalking Championship attempt.

This is brilliant.... Without doubt the best intro so far. Well thought out... 🙌
Thanks! We kinda came up with the idea randomly on the spot
I used to walk the sperrin peaks years ago. You guys are fit. It’s tough walking conditions. Not ideal in winter there are bog holes you have to traverse constantly in wet conditions . I look across to carntogher from my bedroom window. The sperrins peaks give you different views in all directions being so central. From the summit of dart in good conditions.you can see as far south west as sligo. And from carntogher in good conditions you can see right to the north Antrim coast and the whole west coast of islay island in the west of Scotland. These two sperrin peaks are not much more than ten miles or so apart.
Yeah definitely wasn’t what I was expecting! I was hoping for a trail, nope!
Thanks for sperrin us the time to not do this ourselves. That was a good happy funtime video
Haha thanks Michael! Providing a public service!
@@StephenJReid you always do
Thought of you when listening to this song... High on the mountain by Vincent Neil Emerson. Keep the great content coming, always get a laugh from your videos.
Haha thanks! I'll have to add that to the hiking playlist! 😁
Fantastic energy folks, I really felt peacefulness and solitude of this one. Great shots and music too.👌👌👌
Thanks! Peacefulness?! Spent the entire time ruining the silence by talking nonsense and yelling at Mike 🤣🤣
@@StephenJReid It may feel that way to you, but for me, the calm after a hard day, with coffee, is a great video to watch. Peaceful indeed.😅
@Ervinslens thanks!🙂
Month Python move over, there's a new kid in town.
We need another shrubbery!
love the energy as always man. Loved the video :)
Thanks! I didn’t have much Egbert left in the tank at the end of this!
Brilliant, i dont feel so bad now for not doing the sperrins even though I live right beside them.
Haha! I don't feel so bad about potentially annoying locals now 🤣
@@StephenJReid 🤣🤣🤣
Cool fun video
Tony hobbs
Thanks Tony!
That was great craic 😂
Thanks! Only was to survive it was to talk nonsense the entire time 😂
Funny, I find it hard to comment on this one. Looks like the other 255 viewers before me also found it that way. Nice blood effect.
Stunned into silence? Or not sure what to make of it? 😂
That's why I prefer kayaking, you get to sit down!
Haha! Actually currently talking to an interesting kayak brand….watch this space.
@@StephenJReid how intriguing.
Shout if you want a guide or rescue boat on the North Coast
Hey
Which camera did you use in this video ? with which lens ?
this was with the Panasonic GH6 and 8-16mm lens and a few shots on the 50-100mm lens. It's part of the new kit I bought to increase my production value.
