35:48 that line actually makes sense. fate is the "inevitable" destruction of jinzhou by the threnodians, jue is only delaying that destruction. The prophecy is that Jue was supposed to give this power to Jinhsi...but it wasn't supposed to happen now, why is it happening now? Because the objective of fracticidiua is to advance the entry of the Threnodians. Jue's affliction is that because things are happening much faster than expected, Jinhsi would not be prepared to fulfill the role of replacing him.

I've also seen some changes in 1.1, they added a lot of great music especially in combat whenever you fight some bosses or enemies. (Don't known if it's been like that since 1.0 but I just noticed it 😂)

The moment Changli appeared I was deceased. I can honestly say that after playing as Changli, I loved her controls and kit immediately. I thought Jinhsi's animations were quick......she felt so much faster and much more fluid
Just an important note:
rinas island (the one that old man says echos are next level and i assume some of them can talk) and abraxas (Abby's alternative name) might be the plot for end game of the story...
Also Abby can eat jue easily if she 'become' a threat to rover so yeah😂

i am pretty sure JP Abby is voice by the VA of Nanachi/Diona
abby is called Ah Bu (阿不) in CN, I thought its the word 不(Bu)which means no/dont since I use EN subs with CN voice but its 布 instead. So her name's 阿布 which is common nick for little fluffy ones lol, even korean call her pawpaw. Also, I thought its a she because her CN voice is very high pitch, not like a boy but more girly. Not to mention I play male rover so that might be a factor

My opinion:
Pros:
Abby is amusing to me. Since they spend half the time asleep in our body, they're less annoying than Paimon, and we know they're actually powerful to some degree, so more interesting too.
Changli. Changli. Changli.
I actually found Jinhsi interesting after this. I was painfully neutral about her before this.
Story kept me locked in for the most part.
New area is pretty solid.
Cons:
The Jue boss fight was kinda lame. I hate being locked to a single character in these team-focused games, and the weird pseudo-bullet-hell was dumb as hell.
The handholding for every puzzle required to progress the story. Actually made me mad. They didn't give me even two minutes to try it myself before telling me what to do and then throwing down a waypoint marker.
Jue's exposition dumps.

I'm pretty sure that when we fixed time, the frozen Fractsidus should have murdered like a dozen people once time resumed lmao. A lot of them were frozen mid swing/with their fingers on the trigger.
I'll have to agree, the hand holding has actually broken the game slightly for me, since I did something faster than the handholding and now I'm only getting the same message of something I already did.
And yea, I hope they gonna expand on that part what happened to the people who were about to be killed... Cause absolutely left completely open and forgotten for now.
And yea the fight against Jué was actually pretty lackluster. I'm missing the time aspect of it's powers, its special powers. Basically lacking creativity. But maybe they kept it "easy/casual" since they don't want to make it too hard.
Maybe we'll get a Hologram in the future with Jué and a better/interesting/ unique moveset
Jue was a story fight in order for the story to move forward. Try fighting him as a weekly boss he has a lot of diversity if you just let him attack.
....Like do you really want a sweaty real gameplay when fighting a story mode boss seriously? those are just for cinematic.
And for puzzle subjective, some people want overly hard puzzle some don't want at all so for the devs that's basically a headache trying to satisfy both player base, the puzzle was good enough for what it is.
And after they fixed time, im pretty sure Changli pretty much took care of those fractsidus before the time was fixed, like what's the point of her staying behind lel, heck she pretty much said she will take care of the pursuing and leftovers enemies.
That handholding its just for cinematics. Try the weekly boss. It is better. I find dreamless harder though.

I understand that the dialogue is bloated but all gacha as that like genshin and HSR.... its standard for gacha story... its sad and I wish they cut the fat out.....but i don't think it will happen sadly...
Example: the HSR 2.2 quest was literally 4 hours of yapping that I couldn't skip...because no skip button... and maybe 40 minute of gameplay.... At least the 1.1 story although bloated in some parts was still managably short...
Also the characters!!!! I love Jinhsi and Changli great performance.... just the Changli fight cutscene was so epic, I feel it crush all fighting cut scene in HSR and genshin....

Is this main quest positively received? I find that difficult to believe.
Comparing it to Genshin's early archon quests, I found Wuwa's to be quite underwhelming.
It felt like half the dialogue in the new main quest was them just saying "we must save Jinzhou", "I will do anything and everything for my city" and "I must protect Jinzhou" and the same sentiment on and on and on. Like, I get it already ffs. This was a huge disappointment compared to the actually well paced and interesting main quests in 1.0 of Wuwa. I had high hopes but it didn't deliver.
Some lore parts were fine but not too intriguing. People say how this quest/talking to Jue "gave answers" unlike Genshin's first 3 archons. I think this is true, but I don't feel any intrigue in the story, or in the world, or in Fracsitous (idk how u spell it), or in the mysteries laid out about the mc or anything else. Nowhere near to what I felt with Genshin.
Imo, the worst thing a story can do is be boring, and the new main quest was just that. Just like Genshin.
Wuwa has good action, and the animations are VERY good (and I much prefer them over Genshin), but unlike Genshin there's no substance, significance or emotional impact behind the actions we see on screen. And I'm not saying this considering all Genshin's archon quests, only what they released in 1.0 and 1.1 (which was already act 2 of Liyue I believe). Only this part of the criticism applies to both 1.0 and 1.1 main quests, but at least 1.0 quest was fact paced and intriguing throughout.
Finally, and this is the most surprising and arguably the most disappointing part of 1.1, Jue. The reason why I (and many people) started playing Wuwa is because it offers the combat similar to Genshin's systems but MUCH better. While that still stands true, Jue is one of the worst boss designs I have seen, and this includes stuff like Ruin Serpent and Weanut. Genshin is a collection of some REALLY bad enemy designs. And I don't think you can rank the fighting experience with ANY other enemy in Wuwa to even be in a "bad" category. But Jue is right up there with Weanut and Serpent for me. And considering that THIS is the major reason for playing Wuwa for me, I am slightly concerned.
I haven't played the new hologram fight with Crownless yet, but I expect that to be really good as the other Holograms are.

Beginning/Exposition is giving you context what happened after 1.0 cliffhanger, and if they made that into a scene in 1.0 people will complain its too long, its too boring etc etc hence they dumb it down in context and just gave it static images and don't need to pay more the VA easier job for them, still yet people complain, next time they might as well give no context and just be straight to point in 1-2 sentence, less money to spend and less work for devs.
Second part, is just introduction of new char. Changli and the new Map, i doubt people really find dialogue bloat on that part.
Rising Action, is just explanation of Jinhsi backstory etc and building up the climax and highly doubt the dialogue on that part was long.
Climax, is Jinhsi cliche declaration of her will etc to Jue, a typical backstory of any good char.being tested by higher being, "for the people,hometown etc trope" the same dialogue that has been so repeated so many times by many MC's from anime to games or any fiction about a good leader,person etc.
Definitely not alpha is way better than paimon
my biggest issue with 1.1 story are the reveal who rovers is too fast. prefer if they made it a mystery for at least a year and reveal it in 2.0 for example

that's not how it works, the rover past reveal would only make them more interesting. They're not only "Lord arbiter/Lady arbiter"

They could make it mistery for a while so players who care can keep guessing and invest in theorycrafting for the lore.
@@ywzgbf972 I think it would have frustrated people if Rover conversed with a relatively omnipotent 'deity' figure that has plenty of answers about their supposed master, but refused to elaborate on any details which are logically quite fundamental to their relationship such as 'oh, you're my master' and 'this is who we were and what you did'. While it does seem expository, at least it divulges important lore very soon into the story so hopefully other interesting and significant plot developments can occur sooner in upcoming patches.
I think Kuro is also conscious of trying to keep their playerbase engaged with the overall story from the start, in competition with other gachas which have already had years to flesh out their stories to a point where the payoff was engaging. It looks good in retrospect to see a 4 year old story that's had time to flourish but for a new player digging into the first patch of a story and waiting 7 weeks for more? I doubt everyone has the patience to contemplate waiting a whole year to get an answer to a question that has already been brought up numerous times within the plot.
Could they have done it better? Yes of course, I think the loose threads by the ending of Jué's confrontation felt jarring with an 'oh everything's suddenly fine now', and Jinhsi's overclocking scene resolved without enough time to let its stakes be felt. But I think that's partly due to the Deus Ex Machina nature of gacha stories where you expect playable characters to miraculously survive and so it feels cheapened when it turns out to be the case.
