As a Sikh, i have seen this in Brampton where many of my cousins live. They along with most other Sikhs are not interested in Khalistan. But the Khalistanis are well funded, and they keep track of sikh families. They even have contact numbers of Sikh families and newly arrived Sikh students especially. They help them with student loans/accomodation and win them over. Also Sikh families very often out of sheer fear attend their programs and cannot turn down their invitations or donation requests...my Tauji attended one event which had good food etc and the main agenda discussed that day was to cash in on the Manipur violence as a tool to destabalize India. Also, young Sikh students who had just arrived in Canada were being asked not to approach Hindu families for help, or make Hindu friends and also not to do parttime/internship work with Gujarati Hindu Businessmen....Hindu are the most trust worth community there. Ask any Canadian Police officer and he will tell you probably about his Indian doctor or some skilled guy
My cousin who studies Ontario has a roommate who abuses Hindu gods & Hinduism. At first my cousin thought that his roommate is a Punjabi Hindu as that guy didn't wear turban. But SC Christians muslims can't get quota for jobs and higher education under SC ST rule. When it is benefiting to us we become part of Hinduism, but when we don't need quota especially Jat Sikhs who don't get quota under SC st BC reservation, they try to differentiate Sikhism from Hinduism. We r the only religion where we r praising other religions gods. Sikhs under Hindu law gets reservation for SC BC ST quota while also claim minority quota. But SC Christians muslims can't get quota for jobs and higher education under SC ST rule. When it is benefiting to us we become part of Hinduism, but when we don't need quota especially Jat Sikhs who don't get quota under SC st BC reservation, they try to differentiate Sikhism from Hinduism. I can only believe Sikhs r different from Hindus when Sikhs will refuse to take SC BC ST quota under Hindu laws.

We should understand that Sikhism was started as panth not religion just like Swami Narayan sect of Hindus that is even bigger in number than total population of Sikhs today. Hinduism has great tolerance for sects or religions that gets out of it unlike Abrahamic faith religions. Hindus have big heart as well my majority friends r Hindus but they still go to gurudwaras often offer volunteer service or food offerings but these khalistanis has zeroed all those assimilation practices.

There is no doubt that our Govt mishandled the Khalistan issue in foreign countries. Yes, it is a big bad problem but it has to be solved discretely. I hope our institutions have learnt their lessons and the results will show in the future.

Sukhi Chahal was a CAT who along with Congress was helping in spreading terror in Punjab from which it was getting huge money. It was with the government in killing Hindus, for which it was later blamed on Sikhs and police officers were getting promotions. Now those false encounters are slowly coming to light. Other cats like Sukhi Chahal were involved in those fake encounters, who were shifted by the government to other countries for safekeeping. Every child of Punjab knows this. If Sukhi Chahal is right then why doesn't he go and talk among the people of Punjab?
