Today I finally got around to sending out all of the simulation cores that I had planned. I hoped that I would find the perfect 10/10 property value sector today, but unfortunately thorium doesn't seem to exist on the equator of the planet.

TBH I'm surprised the Crux hasn't thrown in the towel yet. Like damn some rando landed in nowhere and has somehow managed to conquer all your major planetary facilities. And now they just seem to want to taunt you.

I'm so glad I've found a non boring non pvp Mindustry youtuber. I've gotten into the game not long ago because Real Civil Engineer played it on someone's request. I'm really enjoying it and I try myself to make the whole exports hub setup.
dude I've got like 11 hours in my salt flats alone lol. making an incomprehensibly large export hub is just fun

Every time i start a new campain, i finish ground zero, and just immediately go to 175, get everything, tons of graphite, silicon, go to frozen forest and get pneumatic drills, and go to 172 sometime in between and just crank out graphite and silicon, and im fone, the early games finished

@@waterdragon7934 I currently have abt 120 hours and i can understand where you're coming from. Nonetheless it's a great soundtrack to just casually listen to for like an hour.
Challenge:
Any sector of high difficulty but you can only use force projectors (shields) as walls
At start sector 175 is perfect, titan, many resources and place, weak enemies, have oil, easy to get and get captured literally at the start of game. But don't have thorium, that's the only weakness

175 is well known as the perfect sector to get after ground zero.
It's simply perfect until you can get another base.

It's too far ahead of time. But I would like to see mindustry.
It seems that the further north/south you go, the harder the bases get BUT the more resources you get, weird
It kinda makes sense, you want to capture the areas with the most resources, and if they are in the south, thats where you get the most bases built
I mean, an eradication base with only copper and lead would be hella cursed

finally you gave time control a try, you wont have to wait 5 hours off camera to get your challenges done, its a very nice quality of life feature.
challenge idea: conquer an enemy base using only the logic control blocks and processors to control units

Do the final sector at 256x speed, no pauses allowed
If you move you will get respawned bc ur drone will get outside of the map so it's not really possible.
175 is my favorite sector. Early titanium, plenty of space, you can produce almost every resource, and the enemies don’t pose any kind of threat
Contaminated water is awesome. It's even beter than spore ground, because it has the best bonus (if you have deep water) and you can just drop mechanical pumps at no energy cost and spam spores easily.
Heard The Ultimate Showdown midway through and had to pause the video and give it another listen, good music choice!

I personally think 260 is a 10/10 : it has everything in massive quantity (except thermal), a huuuuge map with open spaces, every types of terrain you need.
I was able to generate so much resources I managed to generate more within this one only than I actually export with my massive export hub in Salt Flats (because you're always limited on how fast you can extract resources from the core in those export hubs)

Attack 1 sector that is next to a storyline sector. 1 from each. Priorytize bases and higher threat level sector.
You don't have to take them at the same time but you have to do it in 1 video.
I allow you to skip sector 24.
Comments under this comment can be additional challenges/modifiers.
You can leave "Planetary Lounch Terminal" and the sectors next to it.
haven't finished the video yet but 175 is my current best sector, I have ~9k silicon/min coming out of it plus surplus 10k power there from impacts xD 100% would recommend

Challenge: Capture a low to medium threat sector with a shard core, no resources and the only blocks you can use are -small copper walls, duos, normal conveyors, and mechanical drills. No lead, no factories, no power, not even junctions or routers.Also some more good mods are - Too many items, factoriodustry, factoroundustry and SchemePack. Also I think the game where the music is from is

Challenge idea: beat a hard sector using the impact reactor explosion .
(If a impact reactor gets destroyed when it's active it will make a gaint explosion)

here's the rating percentage that i calculate on your mind firefly (but mostly my mind says it so its kinda inaccurate)
rating sector:
1-2 = worthless
3-4= decent
5-6= meh--- ok
7-8=good
9= greatest
10= THE PERFECT SECTOR
update: below 1 rating= the most worthless sector
If you ever do modded mindustry can u try frozen farlands? (Read desc also)
important to note that cranking time past above 8x is inadvisable. The game fails to properly load and update every thing on the sector u are at, just like the part where ur conveyors in ground zero got empty all of a sudden. Same thing happened with units.

Be careful with the time skip mod if you leave it on the x32 for to long it can make you lose a sector you otherwise would have won.
the thing is, the time control mod has diffuclty to manage the ressource managing and that's explain why...your defence work well but above time 8 / 16, the ressource rate is alterate (i call that mini-freez)...don't know if that was clear but time control don't handle well the distributon of ressource.

Time control mod is a bit wierd, like when you crank it up a bit much (like 8x speed and more) factories, power, enemies (like 99) and stuff just dont work normally, like factories make less and stuff.

day 12 of asking a challenge : capture a enemy base only using one of each unit, same goes for turrets(you can recreate a unit that has been killed for fairness)

Not sure if its just me.. but when ever i speed up time, the cryo production seems to stop and all my impacts stops working
Yeah this is a thing about speedup in many games like this, it is overall faster, but not fully efficient due to the calculations involved with the pipes and conveyers not cooperating well

A core that stays in a sector to simulate activity, basically beating the sector while you are away

your conquest for thermal is annoying to me because WATER is my deity, a 3x4 water to power makes 270ish for any water tile and water can be EVERYWHERE 175 my beloved muah, plus black sand is god, (silisand setup graphisand setup)
