- Climate change is expected to drastically alter the lives of future generations. But, its effects are already visible across the world. In the Little Rann of Kutch, a generation of farmers have been harvesting salt for centuries. But over the years, unpredictable rainfall, rising temperatures and frequent dust storms have reduced their yield, making it harder to sustain this practice.

Climate change has drastically impacted everybody be it humans, animals, birds, environment..... 😔😔😔
Climate change is real, never in my 23 years of life I saw rains during Pongal season and it’s happening now. Need to take it seriously!
When something affects our farmers, affecting food on our table is not far away. Praying for a solution 🙏
Praying won't help, grow some trees, avoid plastic/waste, spread these things to your surrounding
Today i realize why tata salt quality has been goes down nowadays
My village is biggest salt producer in little ran of kutch. Santalpur
We must protest each and every step which polluted our nature....... 🙏🙏
Can be fixed
Making large tents .....in these areas
In order protect salts from dissolving and muddy storm.....
Gov needs to act on this solution asap
Due to increased in global temperature , 6 cm increase have seen in sea level since last 20 years
Policy intervention required be it at the level of Central or State Government to protect the vulnerable farmers.
Given the new circumstances and factors, I'd say it's time to innovate. Get the IITs to work on this

In India, before a truck goes through the Himalayas they bless the truck. In the West before a truck goes through the mountains they check the brakes. I suspect there is a similar mind set regarding your dying salt industry.
I have a toothache. Must be climate change.
