This psychologist lady is an amazing listener. She didn´t instantly accept the characterization "women are disproportionately diagnosed with BPD" because she recognized the incorrect usage of "disproportionate". Disproportionate is taken to mean, out of balance or too large/small compared to something else. The word ''too'' implies an incorrect proportion. She recognized this on the fly and rephrased and included the word ''prevalent'' which is accurate. All on the fly no less. Impressive

I once had an ex who abused me both physically and psychologically and I can confirm that she definitely attempted to make me out as the abuser. Watching clips from this trial makes me realise how messed up it actually was..
While I didn't endure any physical abuse, my ex gf was definitely psychologically abusive and then blamed me after breaking up that "I made her like that." For some time, I stupidly actually believed her. This whole court case have triggered me a couple of times, especially when hearing Amber talk down to Johnny on the audio recordings.

You are correct. When amber's lawyers make an objection Depp's team usually accepts it and moves on. However once Depp's team makes an objection they fight it. Especially at the 10:10 mark where her lawyer says "tHaT's nOT sPeCuLaTiOn"
She tried to convince the jury that because she was reviewed to see if she would be a witness benefitting Johnny's case, that somehow makes her biased. This is obviously a contrived correlation. No shit Johnny's team would see if she would help them, that doesn't say anything about why she holds the opinions she does.

She's a professional psych with 15 years under belt, her work is straight psychology, emotional. She helps civilians and military with their relationships, she helps those damn HARD ass relationships, she helps the type of military violent people maintain their relationships, after all the years of hard work and trauma.That type of person does not crack under pressure, in this line of work there are some amazing people, they stay calm in almost any kind of situations, not everyone... but a professional like her? Hell yes. Also, she can diagnose me all over......

That’s a trick question. The prosecutor never asked if it was an alcoholic beverage, so a “drink” could’ve literally been a glass of milk. The phrasing of the question was a setup. If the prosecutor were more specific by saying “did you have an alcoholic beverage with the dinner you had with Mr. Depp?”, it would’ve been a simple yes or no answer. Some prosecutors can be so crooked. It’s absolutely insane.
Respectable therapist. Most of them would act this way. It is just amplified because everyone else on camera in the courtroom (on Amber's side) is pretty unprofessional. We don't see much of Johny's lawyers. I have a lawyer father and a psychologist mother. To get through the schooling she went through, she has to be smarter than this fucking lawyer. She won't get tripped up with whatever softball lawyer Amber dug up.
She has a doctorate and 2 masters degrees. I'm pretty sure that beats out the bar exam lol.

ok while I agree with the psychologist and I am on Johnny's side, the thing is that the test needs to be clinician administered because the scales need interpretation AND correction, as the MMPI 2 corrects for what someone is trying to appear as, consistency, lying, and variance in answers
