- AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who was allegedly assaulted by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide, will record her statement under Section 164 before a magistrate on Friday.
Maliwal underwent a medical check-up at AIIMS, Delhi, on Friday that lasted for over three hours. She has suffered internal injuries to her face, as per a medico-legal case report, sources said.
The Union minister demanded that Arvind Kejriwal should come forward and issue an apology.

Collegium system should go, contempt provisions must go, like UPSC, selection board examination should be conducted for all level of selection. System of posting the cases of particular individual before particular judge alone should be checked. Judges assets should be in the public domain. Vigilance mechanism has to be established to investigate any corruption complaint against judges upto the level of CJI, with a rider that, complaint should be signed, and two practicing lawyers, should attest the signature. For frivolous, mischief mongering, punishment of 7 years RI, should be there. No immunity from CBI/IT raids should be there. They should set up an example for exemplary conduct. Parliament should discuss threadbare and enact, with a rider that Supreme Court shall not have power to declare the law as null and void. After all executive is supreme law making body.
