California Gold Country Motorcycle Ride!

We decided to take our 2022 Harley Davidson Road Glide Limited on a weekend ride through Northern California's Gold Country. We didn't have the full trip mapped out, but loosely planned a ride through Rio Vista, Ione, and Copperopolis. We have been through this area before and wanted to spend a weekend exploring. That is what makes for a wonderful weekend motorcycle ride; generally heading towards an area and seeing what's there.
Rio Vista is a great little town. We had lunch there and then headed to Ione for a short break and Copperopolis for the night. On a whim, we decided to ride up to Calavara Big Trees State Park. It turned out to be a great idea. It's a beautiful place, and we had a great day riding through the trees. It couldn't have been better.
From vineyards to golding rolling hills and up into pine country, this is why we ride. Life is good on a motorcycle. We hope you enjoy riding along with us!
