As someone with insulin resistance and all related issues, I can advise considering the insulin index of foods and taking a break in eating from 6 to 18 - that is, allowing yourself food within a 6-hour window and abstaining from anything but water for the remaining 18 hours. Typically, this helps maintain hormones at the required level and provides additional opportunities for weight loss.

Keep pushing Pasha, dont give up! I have a video suggestion for you, why don't we go back to the old days and make a video where while you ride your bike, you also make Uber Eats or Doordash deliveries, it would be very interesting to follow that journey, and set a certain goal to try to achieve. Keep going! 💪💪

hey man, this was a really interesting video, and i apprciate how transparant you are. I do really advice you to keep up your carbs. The low carbs will cause electrolyte inbalance and increase your shbg leading to lowering your free test levels . this is also probably the biggest downside of keto, since people value their free test levels quite highly. as long as you feel good, and are satisfied with ur blood results, there is no reason to up the carbs, but it is something to look out for. good luck.

I am pretty aware of the electrolyte aspect, hence I take an electrolyte packet or 2 a day. As far as test, it tends to go up on carnivore/keto diets actually. Last time for me it tripled.

@@Pashak yeah one great result from keto is higher total testosterone levels. total testosterone is not the same thing as free test however. Your shbg increases on keto, and shbg will bind to your total test, decreasing free test, the testosterone that is actually benig used for building tissue etc. you can lower shbg by converting carbs in the mitochondrien effeciently. as long as your shbg is within the normal range on your blood results, there is nothing to worry about.

The part I don't get is "why". There is nothing horribly wrong with keto or carnivore. A body could adapt to almost anything. But your goal is to eat less as long as possible. For the rest of your life for the best case. And adding any strict restrictions for no reason is not a way to build a sustainable diet. Eat a candy after your steak if you want. Nothing bad would happened. Except you could no longer say "iM oN cArNiVoRe" if this really matters.
