It fits and the stock fender fits. The reason they say to do it the other way is because if you hit a big bump in the front your front fender gets dented by the triple tree. But I feel ya ima do the same shit. Mechanic told me a few GS for that and I said FUCK YO COUCH!! lol
Yup it's true those little Harley mechanic shops I been to all got one thing in common .They all have a shady look in their eye cause they tryna bullshit you . I built my 08 bagger from the ground up no problems with it runs great . Forget those shops figure it out on your own .it will save you a bunch of money 👍
I'm glad I watched this because I'm buying a new road glide this week and I want the dealer to install my 23 before I even pick the bike up. They swear I need a rake
How many miles have you put on the bike since adding the 23", also do you get any sway in front end around 90 to 100 MPH, I have a 2014 Street Glide and looking to put a 23 on but I don't want to rake it your bike looks hard as hell just like it sits
Its not the fack of it cant be done . Its safer with a rake . Just a simple 7 or 11degree rake and it makes the trail right . Much safer at higher speeds
man, nobody says it can't be done, but its simple geometry. Your rake and trail effect your handling, its risky to have big Trail especially going fast. Yea you can put it 23" wheel on raise the fenders with bracket all stock but that don't mean its right. very unsafe driving, that an't worth it.
I think 23 is the best reguardless how you do it. I got the bolt on rake kit, it makes the bike longer and looks pretty dope too. It ride super stable too, like, more stable. I dont see why doing it like you did would effect the handling, its just gonna raise the front end up a tiny bit. You still have full suspention like the rake bolt on kit. What doesnt seem good is lowering springs but i've never ridden those other 23 inch set ups. Also, you need 2 factor in if you 160 pounds or 300 with a fat hoe on the back. Use some common sense i guess reguardless how you do it. Make some videos of you riding it. I respect your video because you've put miles on and actually ride.
Man thanks alot because I'm running into that racking issue now
I needed to see this because I don't wanna have to rake mine

I put a 23 on my road king I converged to a ride glide,I added a dirty bird rear air ride and I didn’t rake it and I have not one issue.
We see it every time I hate when people don’t change the back wheel
This video answer my questions and I feel you they be trying to get fools. Good video bro 💯 and yo bike look dope

Buy that rear!
Stop tryna hide that back rim with a stretch bag! Lol. Got em!
What's your rake and trail numbers ? The reason you rake isn't for clearance it's to get these numbers back to correct .

What kinda fabrication did you have to do to the risers? Immabout ta get a new front wheel.
I bought some fender risers from bad dad, I found a wraped fender video coming soon

What up bro
What’s the exact name of the risers? Bad dad not showing them on the site. ?
I mean raking

Nice. What brand and size of front 23 inch tire you have? Thank you.
RC components and a shinko
Did you use stock fender also?
Did you have to have the fender risers for the use of the stock fender on 23"
Yea I'm not raking mine
hey man where do you buy the fender risers. Or what kind of fabrications did u do on the risers
Bad dad, klock werks its a lot of websites that have them.
Did it change the trail of the bike?
Stop saying you can't see it ..... 😂😂😂😂
Does your front fairing hit the top of your fender?
No you have to change fork leg oil and stiffen the fork springs to prevent it from hitting
Did you have to put heavier fork oil in it
I did it’s best to put heavier oil in the forks
My brother I just got a 2021 road glide limited and I got 23 and I don't know the best way to set it up so my fender won't hit
Do you have a wraped fender or stock. That stock fender I used was just to get by until I got the other one painted.
What size spacer u run on the fender ?
