Can you help me? I have the Qanba Dragon, which I believe uses the Sanwa JLF stick, but I cannot remove the ball top. It's super stiff and I feel as if the screw is stripping a bit
Here are the parts of an arcade stick that I prefer: a Korean crown lever bat-top joystick because Korean crown lever bat-top joysticks do not need restrictor gates, and sanwa buttons are better than any other arcade stick button because sanwa buttons are sensitive and responsive.
+Rene Mejias I haven't run into this issue myself but saw this issue on reddit the other day and it seems like it's a manufacture defect. Your best bet is to call Mad Catz support and go through them. From what I have read is they will send you a new plexi-glass and possibly new art work to fix the issue. Hope this helps.
+Hasteo so I ordered it off Amazon should I still contact madcatz? or amazon? the problem seems to be that the holes on the plexi glass and the artwork are bigger than the buttons thus giving it wiggle room
+Rene Mejias If you contact Amazon they would probably send you a whole new stick as they wouldn't have replacement parts. If you call Mad Catz they would be able to send you the replacement parts. You can really do either..
+Rene Mejias Try tightening the white shroud around the plexiglass, should be 8 screws. I had the same issue and that seemed to fix it... don't really know how it would *shrugs* but worth giving a try.

hey there, when you say turn the ball with the screw/screwdriver together, do you mean to turn it against each other so it twists?
Is changing the shaft difficult? I would like to change the shaft on mine and the dustwasher
ok i put the flathead screwdriver to the one thing on the joystick and my balltop moves with the shaft. It's really starting to irritate me
Nice videos, man. I have an old Hori Tekken 6 wireless stick I'd like to convert to usb. Do you know if that's possible?
Awesome thank you!!!
For some reason I can't take the ball away I tried really hard its just not spinning ):
Can you let us see the top before you screw it please thanks
I got a flag balltop, is it possible to twist the shaft so that the flag's parallel to the stick?
+Kal Kuma The balltop isn't stationary, it will spin with the shaft once you install it.
Thanks 🙏
what about the shaft cover and dustwasher
Yeah it keeps junk from getting inside the stick.
thanks
Problem solved :D i just use bigger part to takeoff the ball , thx anyway for the vid (:
I just got this stick and the plexi glass on mine shakes and wiggles a little bit. like its too big or not tight enough. anyway to solve this?
