"Well, this has been a m arvellous conversation..." Monk Rowe. Yes indeed, Monk! Thanks to these two wonderful gentlemen and artists and thanks to you. As long as people like Gerald, Snooky and Monk are in the world, life is worth living.
When a couple of great veterans get together and reminisce, it's just priceless! As always, Monk, thank you. I should also mention that your recent Covid interviews are of great importance to the music, and in capturing a significant moment in world history.
Thanks so much for your comment. This was one of my favorite sessions, listening to these long time friends talking about "the old days", comparing bands they both played in ...heaven! Monk
Check out "The Feather" from Gerald's album "The Golden Sword". That performance stuck in my mind when I first heard (about 1970) and immediately came to mind as I started to watch this interview. I found it on UA-cam. It's one of those riffs that goes through your head all day.
@Prince Caden Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Simply beautiful. Friendship, respect, dignity, talent and joy. All the things missing from society today.
Thank you for your comment, it was humbling and a privilege to spend time with these two gentlemen.
How right you are. So much humanity and enthusiasm emanates from these two great artists. Delightful and moving.
