I’ve been doing poly extension gel nails for 9 months. They last for 2-3 weeks. I use a peel off base coat now because I change them every week for practice. They do not pop off at all. I think I finally got my prep routine down. I love Makartt poly extension gel! Don’t give up. If I can do it, anyone can do it! I have never been artistic with my hands.
@@LucieBrasi first I clean the cuticle up. Then dehydrate, primer (one coat), base coat then Jello Jello peel-off base then polygel or gel x tips. I love doing my nails so much. At first, it took four or five hours to do a set of poly gel nails. Now it takes about two hours. Maybe a little bit more depending on the poly gel. Some are very sticky and that makes life miserable, but they still work. Gel nails now take me 90 minutes to 2 hours. I use the Jello Jello one kill remover and that works fantastic to remove them. I can get a set of nails off in under five minutes. I don’t have to soak them anymore. Then I use acetone to remove the residue of the peel off basecoat and that usually takes about 10 minutes. I’m sorry I didn’t see this sooner.
@@michelleaccardi4183 my friends at work ask me if I’m going to start doing nails for others but I don’t want to make it a job. I’m afraid I would stop loving it then. I’m telling you, if I can do nails anyone can. I have never been good with my hands. It just takes practice.
