@Living in Alabama No worries. Your production software may have an option to "compress audio volume/signal" which should keep volume levels consistent. Eliminating spikes and troughs. Though, you may have to manually input your preferred, parametric settings. That being said, changing from an analogue (out-door) recording to a digital interference (in-doors) one or inserting music that has already been compressed will almost always wreak havoc with your audio.
