1970 Porsche 911 Ignition System Restoration

This 1970 Porsche 911 is known as Lil Rock and Roll. BreitWerks loves The Rolling Stones reference. And sometimes, you can get what you want, which in this case is a rock solid ignition system. MSD… Mainly Sucks Dick. Never again will I install an MSD in an aircooled Porsche.

Do they make a simple points eliminator (e.g. Pertronix) for these systems?

Absolutely. I know of at least two different versions. Unfortunately I had two different Pertronix units, on two different vehicles fail and leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere in my formative years. Yeah, maybe it’s just me but aftermarket ignition components just don’t like me.
