Me personally dont like any organs Intestine is okay but heart, liver, lungs etc i just dont like their tastes BUT for paru sambal i somehow can swallow hahahaaa, cuz spiciness kinda remove the organs flavor
A bit of pari fish, dip into both sauces we make it as the gravy, add on the nasi putih... Heavan!! N hot teh tarik during the rainy day, also a new level of life enjoying it👍
Hi Danny!! Thanks for keeping our Steve and Michele great company.❤❤❤🥰🥰 Wish we had some of the Malaysian food here right now in mid-winter. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Keep well Danny, Michele and Steve.
@@Steve-Owens hope you go check up nasi lemak telur bungkus at "warung bunian" and it roti jiwa kacau another roti canai variant.. got to go early because it always sold out pretty quick..
Nice to see u enjoy Malay food at Kampung Baru.. Beef lung, liver not just delicious but packed with vitamins too.. The weather now is warm n less rain, why don't u go travel to the east coast like Kelantan n Terengganu, enjoy the beach view🌴 seafood, ikan, sotong bakar etc
Wow a cup of hot n strong tea on a rainy 🌧 day ! It looked so nice..I would add crushed ginger to it.. couldn't identify the fish. It was salmon or king fish..or may be mackerel . Anyway. enjoy ! 😁
Indeed, though it's not really a Malay thing to eat with your hands in every instance. It's tricky sometimes to know where it is right.. There is a huge Chinese influence here, where eating with the hands is frowned upon and then a massive indian culture, where the hand is king.. So I'll try and pick my times.. Thanks 👍👍
you seemed to enjoy that Pari/stingray, should go to Jalan Bellamy, try all types of Grilled Fish, Pari, Giant Squid.. have a blast , enjoy your trip 😊
Those sting ray bones are really cartilages. They are edible except the central spine. The accompanying sauces are of 2 types: the dark soy sauce (Kicap) with chillies and onion and tamarind or squish of lime juice and the other one is the tamarind sauce (air asam), also with chillies and onions, some sugar and shrimp paste (Belacan).
Thanks buddy.. I should have asked there but I can eat and tend to like anything, so I'm not too curious on the outset, if it looks good, I'm in.. LOL. And it was by the way
G'day😊 I think you should try Malaysia another Hainan coffee in ICC Pudu food court there. Hainan coffee of the flavor is also quite strong. You will like this Hainan coffee😊
Those burgers towards the end looked really nice and cheap as well, the fish seemed nice as well. I guess you have to be careful of the bones, didn't the Queen Mother nearly get done in on a fish or was it a chook bone?
Man, petai so smelly, wonder you can handle durian 👀 Both are pretty much the same, love at the 1st smell...once smell it for the 1st time you either like it forever or hate it through your entire life ahahaha Edit: i binge watch ur vid and just saw ur durian vid ahahaha, good job mate
@@Steve-Owens ... quite soft, ... just eat the bones together with the meat ... but don't eat the big bone in the middle of the stingray (i.e. the one separating left/right wings).
Please eat rice with a spoon not fork. So it can scoop more rice and mixed with others sides. Others then that if your meals have more then one sauce example chili soy sauce, sambal belacan, etc..do not dipping all the sauce together but dipping one sauce at once. So you can taste the flavor perfectly.
I'm glad you love paru(beef lung) because it's one of my favourite dish in Malaysia. For me the best way to eat paru is to eat it with nasi lemak.
Thanks for the tips!

Yes it did look nice and would be welcome here, as today was cold, but nice once the sun come up.
Hi Anjali.. yes nothing comes close to a good hint of masala.. it was stingray, Pari or similar they called it . Delicious.

Hi Mr Steve how are you? I hope Kota Kinabalu also in list, anyway have a great day
Hi buddy. This time around, yes it is. Thanks
Hello, beef that u eat must be a lung or hearts of beef, coz colour is Black, and for the starmark beef colour is white
Thanks
Stingray/Pari the bone is edible and not harmful, the the tougher bigger bone is too tough to be chewed
Don't worry about stingray bone it's not Sharp like other fish bone you can chew or bite like a chicken nucle.. Try it
Will do
I've had tea similar to that before. I like it. The food looks great. Cheers, Steve and Michelle! ✌️
Good to hear, did you enjoy it buddy?
@@Steve-Owens I did enjoy the tea. It was made by someone from Sri Lanka. They called it stretch tea. Cheers!
Pulled or tarik Dwayne but I supposed Stretched is a good interpretation also.. Both describe the method well..
marinated looks good
Truly was Jasper
You should try nescafe tarik, ice lemon tea, many more hahaha
I'll see.. Pulled coffee sounds great, not sure about Nescafe.. but good pulled coffee.. Yum
i recomment you to eat ikan bakar at IKAN BAKAR Jalan Bellamy near the Alice Smith International School. Take a GRAB to go over there.

The black beef is actually cow lung....not the meat.....
Is a beef lung, the taste so fresh so clean so smoth because malaysian cow dont smoke….😂😂😂
I just had my tea with condensed milk (and a bit of evap.). I ran out of regular milk and “made do”. Yours looks much better Steve.
Pulled tea is the bees knees M.
