Love these dolls! 80's dolls look so innocent and adorable, so their charm will last the times! I am a 91 baby but I 80's dolls are much favorite.

I remember having a Cherry Merry Muffin, because I distinctly remember how fun I thought it was that those muffins popped in and out of the pan. 😄

i had them, barbies little sister and such. my favorites were the cupcake dolls, they smelled so good!
HOLY COW those faces are so cute?!?!? I feel like their charm really holds up in 2021. A lot of modern cutesy dolls feel like they're desperately trying to imitate a cute look but end up feeling forced (LOL Surprise...). I'm interested in these now!!
You're right the charm definitely does hold up. I feel kind of the same way about the playline dolls today
Omg blast from the past! I'm your age and i had a bunch of these from the 3rd wave and 2 from the 2nd. It's so crazy seeing the little muffin hat & ice cream cups i would have forgotten. I also had the scented muffins in the tray so i must have had one or 2 from the 1st set as well. Still remember how they smelled!!

i would say I had never heard of them, but I probably did and just ignored them because that was my post-graduate work and I was busy trying to get more schooling, career, grants, and such. They are cute dolls. Ebay, here I come!

I love these dolls their clothes are really cute and still have their little shoes. I defiantly would buy some in fact Im going to check out ebay now!! I think I had a Peach Perfection when I was very young and possibly a cherry Merry Muffin. Something seems very familiar about Peach.
I have found a first series Cherry Merry Muffin in a thrift store for 99 cents. She was still great condition with her hairbow she lacked accessories and needed a freshening up. My daughter and I also found several of the PVC cherry Merry Muffin figures. My daughter loves those and plays with them frequently. I noticed she doesn't play with cherry Merry Muffin, the doll, much. When I asked her why she never plays with her and ways leaved her on a shelf. She responds that cherry Merry Muffin is a collector's doll so she doesn't want to muss her. Lol! She's only 6 and she's got her collector's dolls that are display only 😀

I had the mini playhouse sets and probably the dolls too. I was always seem to be drawn to brunette dolls so I think I had the chocolate one 🖤

I was so excited for you to do a video on this doll line. Thank you for making such a great video about one of my favorite childhood doll lines. I *loved* my Chocolottie doll when I was a little girl. I still have her packed away somewhere. I especially loved the little companions the dolls came with. Chocolottie came with a little chocolate chip friend with a cute little face and bow. Each one of the little friends is actually a utensil for baking. For instance the chocolate chip's feet can be a cookie cutter, Banancy's banana friend is a measuring spoon, and Cherry Merry Muffin's cherry friend is a sugar shaker. They are just all so cute and I remember that they used to smell really amazing. I also have the Disney Moroco doll. I bought her at Disney Land with my birthday money when I was about 9.
A couple years ago I bought Penny Peppermint on ebay. The one I got didn't have her hat or her apron but she's in otherwise great condition. You mentioned that you felt like she was just another blond doll in the line but in person her hair is actually a lovely auburn color and not blond. I'm looking to get Banancy next because I love her purple eyes, and I'd love to get more of the Disney ones.

These dolls are completely new to me. I do love 80s dolls, although I'm not a fan of the tinsel in the hair thing. Also I prefer dolls which are more adult in appearance than child-like, so I have She-Ra and Jem and the Holograms dolls from that period. I'd also really like some of the Spectra dolls because they really intrigue me.
I also wonder what chemicals they used to produce smells in toys and the like, I still have a sticker book of scratch and sniff stickers from the 80s and they STILL smell too!
Those chemicals may kill us all one day 😂

I think I had one of the miniatures! I don’t remember the doll that came with it, I just remember the house. If I could find the whole set in my parents house, though, I would definitely send it to you! These dolls are cute, they kind of remind me of the Peppermint Rose series of dolls. Do you remember those? I adored Peppermint Rose doll and kept her mint in a shoebox…..which is where she still is, carefully tucked away in my closet 😂 😍
Yessss I didn't have a Peppermint Rose doll but I had tons of her stickers because my grandma worked for American Greetings 🥰

I had most of series 1 minus Apple Amy and I think Betty Berry's arm broke pretty early on so I didn't like that one, a couple of playsets one involved a folding table and one was a wedding cake and wedding dress I think, and Greta and Lilly from series 2. I had to get rid of dolls when I was young and parted with everything except for Greta Grape up until maybe 10 years ago. I also got rid of my black version of Wee Lil Miss Bedtime when I got rid of Greta, and I really regret that decision.
Do they share the same body as wee lit miss cause the kind of look like they do
My girls were born in 1981 and 1983 and I do not remember the ad or the dolls
