Wow, this video is so detailed and helpful. I’m currently trying my hand at making backgrounds for an app and I’ve been so clueless on how to use all four of my walls. Thank you 😃

Is there a tutorial for measuring the distance of that desk now that you've positioned it against that wall?

So just to be clear, you found a table image, saved it, opened it in PS and removed the background. Then how did you get it into the room before you started editing it? I have been doing it by copying and pasting, but is that the right way?

Hey Michelle thanks for the comment, i like to literally drag my image from the desktop, folder or even web browser directly into photoshop. You can see an example of this in the following lesson 8. If you choose to edit the image in its own .psd (this is what i do) then after you have removed the background just save it out as a .png. that will preserve its transparency so you can import it into the template and future templates. Does all that make sense?

Now how would you tweak an object that is not geometric but has more organic shape into perspective?

HI @Daniel Pacheco I have recently uploaded a video on my channel on that topic, the results are far more real but it takes more time and skills.

PHlearn doesnt even mention this stuff on their website; all they want to do is teach you how to manipulate 2D objects. Finally I can stop wasting so much time looking for a piece of furniture thats been photographed at exactly the angle I need!
