@philthcollins haha. you judge AN based on one of their slowest songs. What the hell was the first EP then? postmark my compass? what is it? smooth jazz?
@richardsucksx .............thank you! obviously he's never heard of slap shot,sam black church, converge, reach the sky, overcast ect. you hit the nail on the head!
all these people saying that wes is doing a bad job. fuck hes doing the best he can with all the kids bumping into him. he only has one hand to do everything cut him some slack.
I will never understand why Wes quit hardcore and literally change his style with band such as Ye Olde Maids and cold cave. Damn hes a living legend for what he brought to hardcore.
@philthcollins those are all 80ies bands.. If mainstream music would work this way, everybody would be listening the same 80ies mainstream music still. You can have you're opinions, but in 20 years or so, people will react in the same manner you just did: This isn't hardcore.. Yea it is, but it is evolving. Thank fuck for that. Furthermore I like the old HC bands also more. American nightmare were big in the ''emo-era'' of HC, which already evolved a alot different types of music.
@mahavishnuxc if the original new york hardcore scene kids saw these guys live calling themselves hardcore they'd die of laughter. It's kinda negative I know but it's true.
+T. Rativa I read about it, The singer got into a fight with the security there when he tried to get back on stage after diving in the crowd.There used to be pictures of it.
ahhh the great american nightmare.. pretty much changed hardcore for the past 10 years. if you dont like them, you probably dont know jack shit about REAL hardcore
Uh Seattle HxC is where it's at anyway. Or better yet, NW HxC. Shook Ones, Sinking Ships, Champion, Vanguard, Dragline, Go it Alone, Blue Monday, The Answer, Barricade and The Vows. Boston has it's good shit too, but I'm sorry Converge and American Nightmare are not hardcore... and NYC... Glassjaw and Snapcase are some of the greatest bands ever.
I loved American Nightmare they were so good live...I saw them with Panic when I was 16 in Boston...such a good memory
Panic was so dope!
Arguing over what hardcore has become such a trend now.
Soon people will say BANE wasnt hardcore.
This band is amazing.
Theres a lovely collection of their gear up on ebay.
hectic mosh!! keep coming back to this clip.
when your around its hard to be who i needed to be!
Couldn't even tell you how many times i've listened to the self-titled and Background Music... December 31st can't come soon enough.
i love them
apparently they are playing two reunion shows in boston and LA in december
i've air drummed this song to death.
Wes Eisold is a god.
@philthcollins haha. you judge AN based on one of their slowest songs. What the hell was the first EP then? postmark my compass? what is it? smooth jazz?
really awesome
@richardsucksx .............thank you! obviously he's never heard of slap shot,sam black church, converge, reach the sky, overcast ect. you hit the nail on the head!
16 years ago
Best straight up "hardcore" period! no macho bro bullshit here!
is this the same show that death threat played it looks the same stage and same kind of crowd aha
@volar
Trolling is not permitted here
agreed!
single handedly resurrected hardcore
Pun intended
Dec. 29 2011
I like his arm. It's fucking dope.
true. fuckin true.
they are fucking the greatest band ever,
they started as American Nightmare, then American Nothing, then Give Up The Ghost. lawsuits suck
@philthcollins Ehhhhhhh wrong, but thanks for playing anyway.
i love this shit..

@Anarkick1 The world's best band? You forgot all the other bands that sound exactly the same! :)
i didn't know that tackling the singer was part of stage diving
@volar haha nice.
@CrotalusKid ...like...who?
@bille77 your missing the point of what hardcore is about
@xxbizk1txx You goon.
this show was the first time I saw them live
ahaah are you fucking kiddding me. oh, i think we all missed the point when they said any band with throat vocals is screamo.
@mahavishnuxc if the original new york hardcore scene kids saw these guys live calling themselves hardcore they'd die of laughter. It's kinda negative I know but it's true.
...and the only good thing is that you're not here.
Actually The Ghost Inside covered this song more powerful.
Welcome to hardcore.
his arm freaks me out.
more punk then i imagined they would sound
oof!
Hi Five....wait., nevermind
A- FUCKING MEN...........VGNRVLTN.....If AN saved hardcore.. The internet destroyed it.....
backed.
i just wish they could actually play a song fully through and have it sound like the cd. it just annoys me when the kids don't let them actually sing.
@pbtomass This isn't hardcore. Minor Threat and Slayer are hardcore. NoFX is more hardcore than these guys.
vegan revolution everywhere you are i love you!
I love this band in record, but yea, I agree, I saw them back when I was 14 in 2000. They are terrible live.
@uzername91PUNx they're far more inside the lines of hardcore than these guys.
why does he say my mom htis harder
+T. Rativa I read about it, The singer got into a fight with the security there when he tried to get back on stage after diving in the crowd.There used to be pictures of it.
lollllllllll
Wes is a jaded rich boy who hates hardcore now so tell me if he brought hardcore back, dont think so.
weird mix tho
WTF.
I'd like to shake that man's hand
LMAO. none of these makes sense
ahhh the great american nightmare.. pretty much changed hardcore for the past 10 years. if you dont like them, you probably dont know jack shit about REAL hardcore

vocals are awful live. but good band
They aren't good at music.
