Great, but I wish you'd started by showing how to connect to the piano from the app. (I thought it'd just be a matter of pressing the piano's Bluetooth button, then pairing with it, but apparently not.) Sometimes it can be a challenge imagining what it's like not to already know things about one's products.
Yeah, I can connect to Piano Partner 2. One problem. Pretty much half of the features are missing on Android. There's no way to change transpose, ambience, brilliance, etc through the app on the android version. The metronome on android is only able to change tempo while on Apple you have a bunch of options for metronome. Bottom line is, this app is almost worthless unless you use a Apple device. Roland, I humbly ask you to fix your app on android so it can have the same features as Apple. Cheers, Jaden
Thank you so much for your honest review. Only the flashcard section works on my app. I never would have bought a digital piano that depends on an app in order to perform it's best features.
Terrible app. I can’t get it to work. Any ideas. I’ve followed the instruction. The keyboard does not need an update. The midi selection never connects
Hi there, at the 10th minute of the video, you played the internal rhythm and then started playing the piano at the same time. I was wondering if I can import an external rhythm into the app and play with that?
I have the FP-10. In the Piano Partner app, there are 4 organ sounds: Jazz Organ 1 and 2, Church Organ 1 and 2. On the keyboard itself there are only 1 of each. Hope this helps.
I’m using this app with a Roland FP 90. The drum pattern feature would be great if it would allow you to play the keyboard in SPLIT MODE. Apparently the drum pattern feature disconnects the left hand on the split mode ( I guess the memory is required for accessing the drum patches .) so the end result- you cannot play a drum pattern with a left hand bass and right hand piano (or other) sound. This is DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB! Very frustrating- this almost completely defeats the purpose of having the drum pattern feature! I wish the engineers at Roland would use their heads a little more! The whole point to drum pattern accompaniment is to be a one man band. Having access to a left hand bass is critical.
Please do not buy Roland, it has radio frequency(RF, Wi-Fi, cell phone, bluetooth) interference which makes hum noise. Roland warranty does not cover this issue. My Yamaha toy drum and keyboard do not have this issue.
It's a shame I can't store the recording in my device. :(
Quick question:
Are we able to export the recordings on the app?
Why don't you have any training section or tutorial for total beginers?
That recording you made into Roland Partner 2, can I send it to my computer ?

Do you know if the app works for the FP-10
Thanks - a great overview
Excellent video. Thank you. I also use OnSong on my iPad. I assume I toggle back and forth between the app and my program?
Parabéns Alicia. Gostei muito. Tb sou tecladista mas ainda não chego aos seus pés em conhecimento. rsrsrs
Any good videos on connecting the app to the keyboard? I can pair with my phone but not the app?
Is it possible to record one track over another one?
It has been FUN!

Terrible app. I can’t get it to work. Any ideas. I’ve followed the instruction. The keyboard does not need an update. The midi selection never connects
Finally, I found how to make it work, first you need open your setting and choose forget this device, then open roland app, you can find it.
Anyone know if the fp-10 is able to use all of the tones on the app?
Great product and demo.
Which Model Roland is in this video?

Hi Alicia thanks well explained . How do we access the drums without the app can u explain in the reply to us if u get time thanks 🙏
Who the heck clicks dislike for this ?? Why??
great keyboard skills! What grade have you trained to? I’m guessing at least 8. I can’t read music so only play by ear.
Only bluetooth is there for connectivity...??
will all these features work for roland fp10 too?
Is this compatible with the Roland VR-09 Combo organ?

How can I use piano strings tone 1 piano tone 2 strings without using the app?
I want to buy an FP-10 and there's no sound of pipe organ. Can the FP-10 use all the sounds in the application? Pls Help :(
No. But you can connect via MIDI (to computer) and use VST plugins (GrandOrgue is lightweight and it's for free)
i have the same question please respond!!!!

Can i use piano partner 2 for rp 30
yes you can
But i dont see the blutoot function on rp 30 so how can i
Maybe you can plug your phone/table to piano via USB cable. Just guessing.
impossible de se connecter, j'ai un message d'erreur, apparemment je suis pas le seul au vu de la note de l'appli
apparemment il faut activer la localisation GPS en plus du bluetooth et ça marche
try upgrade your piano firmware first then connect
Nice video,
Why does it not work fully with andriod?? I will get yamaha instead for that reason alone.
Did she say i that...? I must of missed that part. But either way... man up and get an iPhone, you’ll be better off no matter what app you use.
Enjoy your second rate sound, Why not get a real device.
Not avaliable for android!!!
ya it is
The App stinks, crashes constantly. Crumny font and color, too. Note quiz sucks eggs. Roland did a lousy job.

Does the accompaniment have a bass line that follows you with drums?
Robert Michalscheck yes- If you want to sound like a Wurlitzer organ from the 1970s.
Frp-1
