Although, I have to admit I love the sexy men in the show, The two roles that they played may be the best I have seen in many years! I want more from both of them!! I loved Patti in 'Life Goes On' it was an amazing show and way ahead of its time. Holland Taylor was in 'The Practice' and 'Going Places' which I loved both very much. All I have to do is hear their voices and I smile! These are two of the absolute best and hope we get to see a lot more in the future!! (PS, Thanks Ryan for being so smart!)
I first saw Holland on “The Edge of Night” in the 70s. She was evil and funny as a nurse named Denise. They killed her off and brought her back as a ghost. For years, my family called her Denise, no matter what role she played, and I was so happy when she won an Emmy for “The Practice.”
I wrote to Ms Holland a Mail and she even wrote back! She , LuPone and her colleagues put the younger Actors in their places! Even Parsons was swept of the screen. I was not entirely satisfed with the story...which was kitschig and a kind of white washing....but Taylor was a joy to see playing! I do hope she will did the reading of Schnitzler!
