I prefer Smoothies! They come in different shapes and you just stick them on clean skin...no water misting required. Plus, they can be used at least 2-3 times each!
@@debranaumczik6286smoothies are plastic thought and they don’t harden so if you have strong muscles you can still furrow with them on. Frownies are more effective in my opinion.
I honestly think you (and other people) look better when you're expressing yourself with your face and eyes -- even if I notice people's lines/wrinkles, I don't think they look bad. I'm learning this about my own forehead, as I was inspired to try several different brands' silicone patches from Ulta during your 30-day challenge and they felt too hot and itchy after 15 minutes. My skin is too sensitive for almost any of this, so I'm in the process of being fine with my own "power eye" (right one) and the lines above it, lol.
I respect you for not following the trend and shoving your face with poison. You are showing women there are other alternatives. Ever since I saw post on the Facebook group with botox /dysport injuries it is pretty risky.
I’ve been using frownies for a couple weeks now. I love them. They’re a great alternative to Botox. Just a tip I found, wetting the frownies in the morning makes it a little easier to take off and doesn’t make the forehead red.
Wow, what a thorough, helpful, and fun review and test of these Frownies! Your "old school" motivation sheet is delightful--yep, got to admit it, sometimes technology isn't the best answer!😄But oh my gosh, please don't hold back on making expressions when you talk! I was so surprised to hear you say you were working on that. Your enthusiasm, both in your words AND your face, are such a charming part of you, and make you so REAL. Aw, please don't limit that. (But of course, just my opinion, and I apologize if I've overstepped...😬.)
I use a simple chart sheet myself for my skin care. Keeps me on track, especially on those long days when all I want to do is just wash my face. I tape it to the inside of my medicine cabinet mirror.
I use Smoothies, really easy and while I use just the triangle version they have a multi pack for forehead, smile lines, eye etc. I just focus on my “11” area but used frownies at first and it was just too fussy for me, Smoothies are a medical grade silicone easy to stick on and I re-use about 2-3x and because they are clear I keep it on when working from home as you don’t really notice unless you are close up.
❤ Can you please talk about Botox is black label. Side effects of Botox, including "baby" botox which a marketing scheme. My doctor told me that botox reabsorbs 20% of the bones, which leads to more sagging.
So glad you're doing a deep-dive on PCA Ex Linea... which is what i use and I'm pretty happy with it. I think it's softened my forehead "lines" a bit and my aesthetician has noticed a difference. I'd love for you to do a deep dive of PCA's new product, Pro-Max Age Renewal, "Advanced anti-aging serum clinically proven to lift and firm the appearance of skin by 60%*." It's a bit pricey (more than the Ex Linea peptide product)!
I love frownies. I’ve been using them for a year and I’m still on my second box. I’ve tried other like the sio patches and although you can reuse them I still find them more way expensive.
I wonder why I never hear people talk about Dysport??? I've only gotten Dysport... From my understanding, it's works much better than botox. My Dysport lasts about 4 to 5 months. Love my Dysport. But I'm going to buy these!!
I do the same with medical tape I got from CVS. A little more annoying to tape the forehead and it doesn’t harden but it works. My wrinkles are barely starting to appear on my forehead so take that into account. I am think of trying frownies though.
When I try removing these, it hurts a lot and doesn't seem good to pull on the skin that much. Sometimes they really won't come off without pain. Might look into smoothies.
In Canada it’s about $40 for a box… and it will last me just under a month. It’s too bad they charge so much here as it’s not near as affordable anymore! That being said, I loved them and I did use them for a while before I learned how to make my own:)
@@judithlistello4601 sure! I watched this video and did what she said. I made my own shapes eventually but it worked well! I’ve made months worth for $20!
I Am an expressive face person..so shoot , I am in my early 60's . So I just don't know, bc seems like a bit much ?? That was my ? Normal routine as I really do still try. Thanks for your info ..get it be more normal
Can’t find your pillow link anywhere? Glad you enjoyed the Frownies I’m afraid I don’t see a difference so it’s a huge long term commitment for not much result (not even a full day!) I wonder if you’d get the same short term softening result with a paper mache cast?
You’re smooth right after and then for me, I stare at a computer all day and naturally frown, bringing my 11’s right back. I will say though, not waking up with those creases right away from sleeping is a huge plus for me. I don’t go into work already looking pissed 😂 the smoothness fades but I’m hoping I can “train” myself to stop the frowning over time. Been using them about a month now.
So basically it’s just training you to use that muscle less. So in the end even when you’re not using them, the lines on your forehead are definitely reduced. I used them every night for the first month, and now I only do it 2 or 3 times a week, and they definitely work for me. They absolutely don’t remove the lines completely, they just soften and reduce them a lot, which is want I wanted. Like a more natural Botox. Especially as a guy it’s perfect for me.
These dang things leave lines along the edges of where they lay, leaving red slightly indented lines on my face almost all day!!! Not just very temporary redness once removed! UGH! 😢
I have very heavy forehead wrinkles, I’m 58. Please tell me what you would suggest? I’m in Canada, things are very expensive. Had Botox etc in past (used to work with an MD that did all that) but made my forehead super heavy. Not a good look not to mention cost. Ideas?? Thanks so much A nurse in Canada
I have been using this product for about 10 days around my mouth and chin and am seeing some results. However getting them to stick to the curvy mouth and chin area is challenging. There is another product "Facial Smoothies" that have an adhesive backing so no water is required. I am wondering if they would be easier to apply and if they work similarly to the Frownie product. If so they might be easier to apply. Have you tried this product?
Do you have a hemi-facial spasm? I have one on my right side that involuntarily raises my right brow. Just got approved for medical Botox to calm my brows. I might get these frownies to supplement the med Botox.
When you are sleeping you are not using your facial muscles. When the day goes longer, your wrinkles start to reappear. As said you earlier, that this may think about your forehead and to relax those muscles. We are too stressed. When in a rehab situation for six months, with no stress, your wrinkles do reduce. Back into the world, those wrinkles will return.

You can buy a huge roll of adhesive construction paper for $20, it's almost identical and does the trick.
Frownies are actually formulated for the skin and tested by third party dermatologists safe for the skin.
OMG. That is way too much work. I'd rather pay for Botox; however, I am glad these are available for those who can't or don't want to use Botox.
