Please check the suspension area under the battery tray and the longitudinals underneath the rocker panels. If the car spent much time outside California please also check the rear trunk below the tail lights. Thank you.
I have been fascinated with the 914 for most of my life. I have heard people mention or insinuate that porsche people don't like the 914. This always surprised me The 914 seems like a pure sports car , very intersting , very modern in styling , great handling and well engineered. I guess the stigma of a high price tag was the only thing missing. I guess it's hard to measure reproductive organs or have bragging rights with something affordable.
I never see these cars on the road. I think I've seen 12 of them. 4 were for sale; I bought one of them. A friend owns another one. The others were at car shows. I can't wait to get my running.
According to Babvvo and Tebbvo laws, sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime!!!!!!!!!

The SOUL of Vintage and Classics are from all the human interaction from ,manufacture, and servicing and ownerships, thru it's life. Modern cars, created by computer, built by robots and human contact is minimal. And if you get a 914, do yourself a huge favor. Bolt a Porsche 6 to the Porsche gearbox it comes with. Madly increases it value and over all usage! Please don't worry about " original" current buyers understand a proper mod ! Don't waste the great Porsche chassis and gearbox with the VW bus motor, sell it to a VW bus owner. And buy a Great 6, it bolts right in. It's value shoots up " ALOT"
