    I use locking-grip pliers to hold the piece I’m sanding down with the angle grinder instead of just hands and gloves.

    That will destroy the paint/finish on the door as well as slowly wear a groove into any wood it touches. 10/10 for creativity, -274917592/10 for practicality and a clickbait title.

      Vinyl-coated cable would be less harsh on the door’s finish. Preventative maintenance plan could be applying some sort of lubrication to prolong life of the surface.

    I might not have but I've helped rebuild a fence before the guy couldn't see the drill holes he made in the concrete for to put those ankor things in that you can then screw a screw into or nut and bolt either one to bolt down the fence
    I liked those ankor things there useful and solid once you hammer them into to holes in the concrete

    Those knit gloves get snagged by the grinder and it's a LOT worse injury than no gloves at all, at least you can pull away. Next time use leather gloves, not kit gloves!

    Personally I hate videos like this that require you to watch it to the end to see if it's even worth your time. Show me 5 seconds of the finished product. Then show me how to do it.

    Don’t wish to criticise but if you ground your centre punch back at 60-70 degrees then ground a point on it at 45-50 degrees it would be much easier to see what your doing ,plus use a pilot drill to start your holes instead of drilling straight through with the larger drill bit gives far better results eg much rounder holes ,easier to drill and you don’t get such a severe breakthrough and risk snapping the drill bit ,a variable speed drill would be better much more control otherwise ,ok for use in the outside shitter I guess but needs prettying up if your ever going to get it market

    You have got to be hitting me. They sell hinges with Springs inside of them for this very purpose and you didn't have to waste anybody's time or money or energy in making this worthless piece of junk click baiting sob. The end of the wire rope is stuck in the end of one of the set screws in the thumb nail and that's not even what you made.
