OMG IT WORKED!!! I had no hopes this would work as I was slapping my phone for the third time. I held the power button after that and voila!! there was the mi logo.

Hello from Ibague, Colombia. Freezer method worked for my Xiaomi MI2100. Its quite hot here, so perhaps some part or connector had thermal expansion and cold fixed it..thanks a lot!

All of the method doesn't work for but one. The FREEZER method works man I can't believe it. Maybe my phone is used to the coldness of Winter in Japan and the heat in Indonesia just sucks for them. THANKS!!

My phone works fine when unlocked, after i lock it for 10 seconds it freezes on a black screen and its impossible to unlock it except for the long press reboot, does anyone have an idea how to stop it from freezing because it is annoying to reboot the phone every time i wanna unlock it.
Ive also noticed if i play music and lock my phone it does not encounter this problem.

You are having software issue on your mobile that's why it's showing Mi logo only. Even last time the same thing happen with me but instead of MI it's was iPhone 12 pro
It's stuck on apple logo only. Then i found the solution i have download Apple iCloud on my windows pc and then i download the software for iphone 12 pro and then i install it on my iPhone. From the pc.
The process is also same for Android phone. But only the software is different It's easy if u have laptop or PC then U just have to download Mi Software full version on your Computer and and you have to install it on your mobile from your computer using DATA Cable (USB Cable)

i am using mi 5x (A1) my phone got into the water, i went to the repair center they changed the flex as the earphone sign was continuous and there was no sound (despite inserting and taking out an earphone several time) now whenever my charge is low (maybe around 40%) my display goes black i tried all the steps( for now i am not sure if it got fixed) but when i tried te spam trick the display went out for a while

It actually worked on my phone.
Not sure what worked, I was up to the smacking on my leg. Then suddenly I got a sort of charging logo - two-pin plug image in an outline with a thick red line at the bottom. Left it on the 120w charger a bit longer and then the Mi logo appeared. Not out of the woods yet as it's been on the Mi logo screen for all the time I'm typing this but further forward than an hour ago. Update - got to the reset/safe boot screen and safe boot actually boots it up. Luckily this is the phone recently replaced with a Note 13 Pro+ so just need to reset it back to factory

I have the same issue on my redmi note 8, I can hear the phone unlocking but the screen is off. When i force it with the power button it works, until the screen locks again and the screen goes blank. I am using a custom rom. When I was in MIUI it just worked fine. This problem only happens in custom roms, anyone know how to fix this?
