A couple of jabs in there that you could have missed:
1) Fair and lovely: During the speech, India says it's not going to discriminate based on skin color but uses the phrase "Fair and lovely" in the next sentence which is the name of a skin whitening cream very popular among Indian women.
2) "47": In the very beginning, the narrator is struggling to recall the Hindi word for 47 (so he uses the English term) and in the next sentence, he mentions that the British were about to leave India.
3) Kanhaiya Kumar: India says that it's not going to arrest students just because they have a negative opinion of the country but for that very reason, a guy from JNU called Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested.
4) Kohinoor: The Brits took the Kohinoor diamond out of India and put it in their crown.
Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested for a reason and we know it pretty well

There are few things you missed like "The Best Oppresor in the World" in the beginning, the salt reference, the fair and lovely reference, the "stealing of Kohinoor" and India not noticing it coz it was distracted by cricket, the US-Pak joke and the "British-Raj" reference was only caught by Rick.
I always criticised Rick but this is his best and most natural reaction so far. He is not pretending to react or over react. He is in his natural best which is awesome. Please Rick, keep it(beingnatural) going..

Rick is a very emotional guy, I never once felt he was fake. He always seemed very genuine to me.

It’s also important to note the intent behind a joke , some jokes aren’t made to make fun of something say Holocaust but to make a hard hitting point about something so vile in the garb of the joke. This was a mirror for Britain, India and Pakistan. This was pure genius.

By the time British came to India, this practice was obsolete in Europe. But in India it continued till as recently as 1987, read the roop kunwar case of Rajasthan. There were other minor incidents after that too.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy found the required documents to put before court aka British laws to abolish the system. The Indian patriarchal society thought the social reformer as offensive to our culture. Britishers did not gain or lose from that decision so they never took a step until then.

Keeping all jokes aside...can you imagine my great grandparents, grand parents, uncles and other family members went through? We can make jokes and move pass it all but the facts remains, yet the word “peace” achieve so much. Bittersweet pride.
In the beginning of the video, there was a picture of Queen with a caption “Roop ki Rani” which literally means Beauty Queen. And a picture of Mountbatten with a caption, “Goron ka Raja” which translates to King of White people. Gora means light skinned but can occasionally also be used like Latin Americans use “Gringo”. The usage is not always offensive, it depends on the tone and context.
They developed this video in Lagaan style.... Watch Lagaan.... And that narrative voice is big B's voice in Movie. Watch Lagaan as i told u both on Insta also....

I just watched it yesterday and I was so amazed. Didn't know poetry could be this beautiful visually as well.
Many people don't get this but since this is very important for context of video, India's stand up speech is not a jab at Britain, but at modern India.
When this video came out, Indian politicians have put students with dissenting opinion of government in jail, shooting at their own civilians in Kashmir and using community fault lines to garner votes. It is like saying what India stood for during it's inception, and is now falling in same trap that it fought hard to get free from
You don't have to agree with AIB's opinion on this, but it is necessary to tell the context. Also, one reaon why AIB went down as soon as a single alligation came against them, is because they had such bold stances. No other brand suffered such a widespread damage from MeToo in India, or even in west. In worst cases, concerned employees were fired, but here, whole company has dissolved. This just tells you speaking truth has a price, even if you say it with humour.

Along the massive digs at the "Raj," The monologue took hard and fast hits at what was the current state of affairs at the time - the stratification of society, the imprisonment of students who criticized the government (and managed to turn the conversation to their advantage in the aftermath), the gagging of media and free speech, etc.
