▼Synopsis
Written by Jiro Oosaragi. This is a period show about a mysterious masked swordsman, Tengu Kurama. He is involved in overthrowing the Bakuhu and fights fiercely with the leader of Shinsengumi Isamu Kondo. Ken Matsudaira acts as Tengu Kurama who is unselfish and kind to women and kids. He says, “Training at the gym made me able to move faster.” The action scene fighting with many of Shinsengumi’s swordsmen is fast and furious!
In the latest Edo era, royalistic Shishi (patriots) who tried to overthrow the Bakuhu gathered in Kyoto. On the other hand, on the Bakuhu side, Shinsengumi was formed to oppress Shishi, and the fight between them had been getting more and more fierce. One day, a man on a horse showed up and saved Shishi from Shinsengumi’s cold-blooded swords. He, Tanzen Kurata (Ken Matsudaira), was a lone wolf who wore a black cloth on his face and was called Kurama Tengu.
