We need a MK1 Granny revival, come on you youngsters! there's some great custom examples out there to inspire you. They don't have to be all original, the basic shape is fab.
@@FosterVideos I see mk 1,s are still being snapped. I used to be a regular at Hednesford Hills but that was over 20 years ago so god knows where these Grannies still come from.Great fun but maybe a bit of a shame? The mk 1 three litre Ghia was the car of my childhood.!Thanks.
I like the MK4/Cortina 80's myself .Got a few and won't sell them. They worth more to me if I was to restore them.. I would rather see a Vauxhall Cavalier destroyed then a old Ford.
@@tonysilliker5977 Yes my first car was a mk 4. It was a pinto 1600 but lusted for a 2.3 V6.You are lucky to have a few still.Rust got mine in the end and sadly I sold it to a banger team local to me.ADU 204 S was her number.
So basically you can do whatever you want but if a car stop and can’t move or there’s an injury they stop the round with a red flag 🚩 until they start moving or get taken in the middle of the circuit
I saw my first banger racing at White City in Glasgow in 1960, I seem to remember that most of the cars were black 😅

0:29 Can someone explain how this works? Are they not concerned about driver safety or is it like “no hitting them in the side rule” or something?

@@mr.grassmenfan4913 Ah gotcha, thanks! I’ve always wondered how it works lol
Drivers side hits are banned, as this is in the UK the hit was fine on that side, although very fast!
@@NORLAMotorsports no problem went to the most recent one and there ended up having a heated fight
@@FosterVideos oh yeah I forgot about that one
