Yep, I've got a Rory for myself also. Have not decided how to display her yet, a problem for a future me. Gate was a blast, I loved how it being what it is managed to subvert the expectations.
A great problem to have lol. Do you go the fan service route or the normal route? You decide. Just be careful when separating the torso when attempting to remove her skirt. If you don't hold her properly the figure will go flying out of your hands... I know this from experience...
Battlemaids for life. I'd put her with Lupusregina. But unfortunately that one is 1/8 and despite what you say about the scale, Rory is meant to be an under-age, seems she is too tall to be displayed with 1/8s for my taste, but I did not try putting them together yet so remains to be seen.
@as2887 Something that you can try is to mess around with viewing angles. If Lupusregina is 1/8th scale don't place her next to Rory. Instead, place Lupusregina at a higher elevation with a riser. This can kinda trick your brain into thinking the 1/8th scale figure is slightly taller
I also have Rory and she's certainly a favorite of mine. She was such an amazing character and QuesQ did a bang up job with her. Amazing character from a very fun anime. I love Gate.
Yeah, I may or may not regret it in the future, but hey I just didn’t think she would vibe with my collection. I’m more excited for other scales that are on their way
I love Alice design even with little to no knowledge of queens blade, I instead got her action figure since I wanted to get more of them for my shelf but I am thinking about getting the same one you have or the variant color instead, idk why but old school figures have gotten my attention way more than newer atm, great haul!!
Agreed! Old school scale figure have that retro charm that don’t see on the incredibly defined detail work you see on newer Scale Figures. Makes it extra worth it to search through the pre-owned section of figure sites!
@TakersKeep if you ever decide on getting more old school figures I would definitely recommend the designs of yoshizaki mine, love the designs they make that I even bought a few old artbooks and have a few figures like the os-tan they they made , really cute and sick designs
Oh, Rory's hair is something special. Thanks, once again, for this wonderful showcase. I guess, the only downside, is that her axe (black parts) is a bit too much 'plasticy' feels like its made out of her clothes. Not a big deal, can be dyed over, I imagine. PS: Oh.. that is a cute pant-- nevermind, the end of this sentence will stay contained, in my memory.

Congrats on 200+ subs Taker!
Thank you! It is an honor to reach this point! 😊
Musashi one is cute! Got a Okita Souji ordered if it'll ever arrive T-T
I was looking at Okita too! I might pick her up to get closer to completing the Petitris collection
